Works well when it works!!
Nice sturdy construction and good brush skirt. Wand spray coupling to unit connection very easy and solid. When working, I cut my 6 hr cleaning by hand job down to 30 mins. Great deep cleaning and ease of use. However, after my second use, and trying to use it on third time, the spray arm would not rotate with water pressure going thru unit. It would freely spin by hand, no resistance, but when water pressure was applied, water would come out of jets at pressure, but unit arm would not rotate in any position I placed the unit horizontally. If I pumped the wand handle trigger, I could get only 1/8th turn at a time. Not sure why this is happening. I contacted Simpson and they sent me a replacement immediately.

Bought TWO - Neither worked properly
Highly disappointed - even after purchasing this TWICE.Bought a Simpson pressure washer and other accessories which are FANTASTIC and can't say enough about how happy I am with them. But this accessory was a big let-down. I was honestly a little leery at the 4.1-star reviews, but I figured someone didn't know what they were doing or, as I often do, thought that somehow I would beat the odds and get a working, functioning unit deserving of the 5 stars others have left. When it arrived, there were multiple layers of packing tape all over the bent and worn box (which had been shipped inside an outer shipping box). When I opened the box, the plastic bag surrounding the cleaning head had been badly crumpled and torn, so it was obvious it had been returned - likely more than once. When I attached it to the pressure washer, only one of the two spray heads emitted any water and only a small trickle at that - no high pressure at all. Disappointed that this "new" sprayer didn't work right out of the box. The instructions directed me to clean the nozzles with the included cleaning tool which I did several times. After fiddling with it for over an hour, the best I got was one head to spray and the other was dry as a bone - nothing. So I returned it and reordered another. I waited to return the first until the replacement arrived so as not to get the same, defective one again. The second one arrived and again, the box had been re-taped - definitely a red flag! When I opened it, everything looked great, though the plastic bag it came in was crumpled and torn, but not to the extent the first one had been. When I hooked it up to my new Simpson pressure washer, the spray nozzles put out a ton of water under pressure, but the arm wouldn't rotate! I removed the head and rotated the arm by hand and it spun around just fine with virtually no effort. That's what you want, right? But when I put it back under pressure, the arm just sat there, the nozzles shooting pressurized water, but without any movement of the arm at all. When I tried to clean with it, I got narrow stripes instead of one big circular cleaned surface. Again, I fiddled with it for about an hour, but no matter what I tried, the arm just wouldn't spin on it's own. So now this second one is going back, too!I don't appear to be the only one with this issue if you read through other reviews. I'm really disappointed because I've been so impressed with the other Simpson products I've purchased! I won't try this a third time - instead I'll buy another (higher rated, less expensive) brand of the same thing. Sorry, Simpson. I gave you a second chance, but you failed twice on this one. But I HIGHLY recommend your pressure washer! Wow!UPDATE- A few months later, I noticed the Kärcher brand surface cleaner go on sale at a price I couldn't refuse. WOW! What a difference! Worked beautifully out of the box and several times since. If you're in the market, definitely get a Simpson power washer (with a Honda engine), but get the Kärcher surface cleaner for it. It's plug and play with Simpson power washers (no adapters needed). Outstanding performance and no regrets.

It's temperamental, but works!
I read numerous reviews before purchasing. All of these devices no matter what brand all have negative reviews regarding not spinning properly so I weighed all other factors and purchased the Simpson. The first time I used it was on a wooden bridge deck and it worked great. It took far less time than using a wand. The next morning I decided to do my deck. That's when the trouble began. The device did not spin properly and put circular groves all over the deck. After tinkering with it (lubricating, blowing it out with an air compressor) I was able to get it spinning properly. I also changed the o-ring inside to one that fit a little tighter. Since then I have done 3 driveways and it has worked very well. At first it, spins slowly, but by pulling the wand trigger on and off a few times it spins great and works normally from then on. It's a tremendous time saver. I strongly recommend extreme caution if you are going to use it on wood. As I mentioned, it usually does not spin properly at first, so if you have it on a wood deck it will leave grove marks. I used mine with a 3100 psi Dewalt power washer. My neighbor tried using it with a 2500 psi power washer and it would not spin properly. Bottom line: It's temperamental, but worth it given the amount of time it saves.

Works amazing!!! Would highly recommend
The media could not be loaded. Bought this product in June of 2019. Still works amazing. What would take countless hours with a good pressure washer takes a few short hours with this attachment. I would compare it to vacuuming, pretty effortless. I also used it on my composite decking and worked unbelievably. I would advise anyone trying it to start in a corner before going over your deck to make sure it doesn't damage your decking.I've read reviews stating that people's feet got wet. Not quite sure what they would expect when your pressure washing anything. You are looking for a lot of water in a short period. Just saying, use some common sense. That being said... A small eletric pressure washer is not going to work as well as a high powered gas one.
