So far five weeks so far so good.
I had this drive for approximately 4 to 5 weeks now. I used it to save data on a daily basis and up until now it's working flawlessly. Previously I've purchased the handsome Kingston Digital Data Traveler both in gold and silver, despite reading reviews from others that the connection starts failing after a short time. It got so bad with both that I had to tweak it to get it to connect each time so I could save my data. I had it! So I decided to look for another drive. I saw this one online and decided to give it a try. "So far" it's working flawlessly and I am very happy with it. I got two to replace the other lousy two from Kingston.I gave it a 5 starts because Amazon is asking me to give a review four to five weeks into the purchase and it wouldn't deserve at this point in time any less. I believe the Kingston started sort of failing within the four weeks. I always managed to get it to work though, but not with a great deal of frustration each time. Eventually the tweaking would've ruined the USB outlet, which is what I was afraid of.So, should you get this HP one? Well, it has HP trademark on it and like I've said, four to five weeks into the purchase using it once daily and hadn't had a problem. You be the judge.

Nice, very small, but fast Flash.
This is a very small, but good storage capacity Flash Drive. It's pretty fast. It fits on a key ring and is small enough to "not be in the way." But it's a great addition to a key ring. I frequently am in need of one, at my fingertips, and because it's on the key ring, I know where it is, and it's a veritable life-saver.*Note, there is no "cap" for the end of the drive. So, the part that fits into the port is just open. You can damage it if you're not careful.... so, no "Hey, here are my keys, catch." and then hurling them over a swimming pool or a parking lot or a lava flow. The thing works great...but I wanted you to know that there's no cap on the end. Just sayin'.

One of the Best Flash Drives I've Ever Had!!!!
This is a surprisingly tiny, tiny flash drive! But it's all metal, and that's the material for which I was searching. A book that is going into production soon is being saved on this flash drive, and nothing else but its illustrations, and graphics. The transfer of the data proceeds very, very smoothly onto and off of this flash drive, much faster than other flash drives. When I saw how small it was, I picked out my thickest flash drive cord to attach to it because I'm afraid of losing it otherwise. Be sure you order a good strap for this flash drive when you order the flash drive, otherwise it will be easy to lose. Don't let that be a deal-breaker for you, though because this flash drive is worth every penny.

Mini flashdrive-very, very small in size
After purchasing a new HP all-in-one as a gift I purchased 3 of these to go with it to be used for a bootable system image, to copy all files from old computer and to use as portable storage. However-I did not realize they were the "mini" flash drive. They do what I want them to-but are to small to be removed from the pc-best to purchase if you plan to leave them in all the time.

Keep it handy on your keychain for that impromptu download
These are small so I always fasten them to a lanyard or key chain or something to make it findable later. I work in an academic setting and on occasion find a document I want to scan to PDF - and the file is too large to safely email. The library scanners all have USB ports and the flash drive on my key chain is always handy when I need it. I've used the HP drives for years, they're totally reliable.

works great right size.
I have used a 16 GB. just like this one for years, never had any trouble out of it. When I needed one with more storage I ordered this 32 GB. It has worked great for me. Great size to keep on a key chain.

Good drives
We used to purchase the blue colored plastic USB drives from HP. These appear to be a great alternative since there is no cap to misplace. Work as expected and the price is good.

Hot buy...
It is a great buy. Decent data storage capacities at an affordable price. I use this drive to hold both my Mac and Windows based recovery images and have never had a problem with them. The one draw back however is that the casing does tend to get hot to the touch, nothing that will cause severe burns but is annoyingish.
