DOES NOT WORK
This product does not work as described. The threads do not fit a 2" standard course thread for a 55 gallon plastic barrel. Purchase at your own risk.

Does not fit standard coarse threads on plastic barrel
Bought this product to adapt coarse threads on plastic barrel to a drum pump. Inside female threads fit pump, but male coarse threads were too large to screw into a standard plastic barrel. Tried on two different barrels.

It didn't fit any of my barrels, the course thread looked right, but wouldn't seat or tighten
It didn't fit any of my barrels, thread looked right when compared to the course thread of the existing cap, but wouldn't seat and start to tighten into the barrel bunghole. I couldn't modify the threads. Manufacturer needs to check their moldings. Regular thread 2" PVC fit correctly.

My barrels appear to have metric threads? I assume these work as intended for Standard NPT
Does not work as intended for visapack containers which appear to have metric threads. Verify your barrel uses NPT not metric threads

Doesn't fit a 55 gallon plastic drum
This does not fit the coarse thread bund on my plastic drums. It looks correct but is too large.
