Great new take on an old series. Grandpa read the originals so many years ago... bought these for grand daughter for her 12 th birthday, our daughter was unhappy that we bought "old" books. But our grand daughter loved reading the Artic Star as she had just been on a cruise to Alaska and the book reminded her of her trip. When reading it ourselves we noted the upgrade in the story to include cell phones and things of today. We are very glad we bought these. Our grand daughter is 12 and above average in classwork. She told us she loved these books for leisure reading and that she reads them over again for relaxation. We bought two sets so that we could read along and text back and forth with our grand daughter as we read. We would get a text late at night or early in the AM as to what chapter she was on and share thoughts of who "done it"... Quite a great experience.

My 12-year-old daughter still loves these books even though she is getting older. She enjoyed this set very much and has read some of the books twice.

I bought them for my granddaughter. She enjoyed them. I loved Nancy Drew books when I was her age--12.

This was a present for my 9 yr old cousin and she loved them! She wouldn't stop reading! She now says that her favorite books are mystery books. I live Prime, they were shipped quick and arrived in excellent condition.
