DR. SEUSSS SLEEP BOOK- YELL_PB

This is such a fun book! I have read this for kids and grandkids and I can't get through it without yawning - but in a good way. I now read it to my grandkids before bed. They start yawning and do so through the whole book. And it's not because I'm boring when I read it! Everyone in the book is yawning because it's time to sleep. They love it as much as I do. It's really great for any age and mine are 5 - 11 years old.

Love the rhymes and illustrations. It's fun to read for me and my kiddo.

I accidentally found this book while ramdonly browsing Amazon. I saw it's excellent reviews from parents and read some samples. It was perfect for my 3yr boy who takes :45min to almost 1.5hrs to put him to sleep at night even with a Melatonin. I was hoping it would knock him out while reading it to him in bed and it did. It was the only book I read to him tonight and he was out with 4 pages left to read still in the book. I'm so excited that it worked and no more Melatonin. 🤗 I recommend this book to any other parents that get this book needing to get their kid(s) to fall asleep somehow. Just be careful, it will make you sleepy to.

I have to rate a Dr Suess book 5 stars. It's a great book. I grew up reading these books and I love that my girls ask me for these books. It was in perfect condition and it was emotional just reading them again. 5 STARS.

"This book is to be read in bed" are the words you will find in the beginning of this book. It starts off with a little bug that yawns and then rhymes along with random silliness about going to sleep. I read this to my son for bedtime last night, and as with all Dr Seuss books, he laughed at me reading it. Words that are made up, as well as creatures, it's a great bedtime book. My son asked me a couple times "What's that?" when I said the name of a critter in the book and then we took time to make up our own life story of certain creatures. One of which my son decided only ate cream cheese....but it weighted minus one pound. *sigh* If only that were true. ;) This book can be just a bedtime story, or a fun activity before bed. you decide. It's a little long so it may not keep a really young child's interest, but it's still worth trying.

My daughter loved this book. Great that it is hard cover. Had the best part of this book the "this book is to be read in bed" page!

Very long book with too many words. So far, my kids didn’t get any interest on it. However, I can’t tell if the story is good or not.

I love Dr Seuss, and this book is the perfect intro to his work for my baby. It has been a part of her good night ritual ever since we bought it and she loves it. When she wasn't so mobile, we used to read it as far as her fussiness would let us. Eventually we realised we only got as fas as the first few pages every night... That happened around the same time that she started becoming more interested in touching everything, including tearing things apart. After the first tear we started to simply recite the first few pages because by then we had learnt them by heart. Last night when I started the first few lines, she looked me in the eyes and smiled knowingly. It melted my heart. I love this book and the moments it keeps giving our family.
