PetFusion Multipurpose Pet Grooming Gloves Great for Trips to Vet and Bathing, Puncture, Scratch & Water Resistant

These are spectacular and I am SO glad I added them to my arsenal. I professionally walk dogs, pet sit and do light grooming (nail trims and baths) and have been doing so for a few years now. I bought these specifically for a cat I watch who is quite spicy, but requires insulin twice a day. After many many times getting bit and scratched I was close to having to let them go as clients and these were my last ditch effort. Worked. Like. A. Charm. Try as he might he can’t get through them with teeth or claws. I even secure the gloves with a hair band and then put my hoodie sleeves over them so he can’t get under it either (otherwise he did manage that, but that’s user error not the gloves). Since that success I’ve used them for nippy small dogs during nail trims and baths, and have even bathed my own 4 cats with them (which if you met them, would astonish you). They work just as they should, the price is reasonable, they even hold up to water. This is a must have for anyone with my job or spicy small critters of their own.

I volunteer at rescue and sometimes I get wild cats, these have made the job so much easier, I can grab them to cut their nails, I can pet them, these have save me from getting seriously scratched during the first few days. I definitely recommend.

Excellent dog training and playing gloves. I have an Aussiedoddle that is very playful and loves to wrestle. These gloves are perfect to protect my hands and forearms from and any knicks when she gets overly excited.

its good but can still very much still be punctured by cats and cats learn fast as you'll realize they'll start to bite rather then to scratch and this won't cushion a bite all that much, i will say since it is thick it blocks what would've been a more bloody scratch so it does its job for most cats but real aggressive cats? yeah it won't work, it fits well and it covers most of my hand where i'd be scratched, overall 8/10, the quality is amazing, it works on most cats, so it was still worth the buy despite not being perfect,

These gloves are excellent quality. They're thick leather like suede. I have small hands, I usually have to buy kids gloves, and the small fit perfectly with no extra room or sliding and go up to my elbows. I bought these for "ruff" play with my pit and they are great. They protect against puncture so if bitten by something big you'll still get the pressure. Even after a good play session I had a few red marks but no bruising or skin abrasions like I would have gotten without the gloves. I haven't tested them in water but feel they would be waterproof if not submerged for an extended period of time. Great durable product for a great price. Highly recommend

I own a smaller female cat. She despises being handled. I bought these gloves because I wanted to try grooming her at home and, most importantly, trimming her vicious dagger nails. I’m happy to report that these gloves did protect me from both her swats and bites. I’m an adult male with average size hands and the gloves were snug, but ultimately fit. I did find that my ability to manipulate small objects was diminished while wearing them, but this was expected. The gloves seem to be a reasonable size. They fit well enough, and they seem to work well at protecting against scratches and bites. Of course, the pressure from a bite can still be painful, but the gloves protected the skin. Unfortunately, no amount of glove wearing will stop a cat from squirming and wriggling away, so I ended up taking my cat to a professional groomer. At the lower price point these gloves are definitely worth trying if you need to handle a cat with a short temper.

No more clawed by my cat for a quick little wash ! Not water proof they do absorb water a lot but I don’t mind as long as my cat can’t claw me trying to escape a bath ! The fit was good quality material

Not bad, but if you are dealing with a feral cat- they can and will be able to break through biting/scratching you.

I wasn’t brave enough to use them to grab the feral kitties I went with a broom and board for the vicious one to get them in their carrier for the vet. But they are comfortable and seem sturdy enough.

Wij gebruiken deze om(wilde) katten te pakken. Deze handschoenen zijn niet zo stug en daardoor veel handzamer en beweeglijker om een dier vast te pakken. Als een wilde kat echt doorbijt voel je het wel en krijg je een knijpblaar, maar de tandjes gaan er (tot nog toe) niet doorheen. Aanrader.
