Best on the Market
I have used BareMinerals foundation since Leslie Blodgett introduced it on middle-of-the-night TV advertising in the mid-nineties. When it hit big, other MAJOR cosmetic companies introduced their own "mineral" makeup, so I tried 2 of those for convenience sake. Only once. They couldn't compare, felt grainy, sat on skin surface, and would not blend. So, for nearly 30 years, at 74 yo, it takes me 7 min to apply my makeup, which is such an ingenious combination of earth's minerals that are actually so good for your skin that you can sleep in this, and improve your skin! For nearly 30 years I have enjoyed compliments like "you can't be that old, you don't have any wrinkles!" or "you look amazing, it must take you hours to get ready in the morning'" or the best one: "your skin is so smooth, you don't look like you have makeup on!" I hope Bare Minerals never goes off the market!

I am a believer! Love this stuff
I always purchase bare minerals from Sephora. I tried amazon because it cost less and i wanted it fast. I read the reviews and i saw some people said they recieved a sample size. I was skeptical but i got a full size same great quality I get in store. Will purchase again

Love this makeup brand
I won’t wear any other makeup. Light weight provides good concealer and coverage keeps face from getting oily

Love this!
This is my favorite foundation by far. I’ve used it for 10+ years and can’t tried others in between but nothing compares to this. I keep coming back to it

Shades are not the same as their regular foundation line
I'm very fair-skin Asian and it's hard to find a product line that doesn't clog my pores and make me break out. I've always loved the Bare Minerals product line. I've tried everything from Lancome, Clinique, various Korean, Chinese, and Japanese product lines. But I returned to Bare Minerals Golden Medium Original Foundation and have been using it for 10+ years. I use lots of Asian oil blotting paper every day (even now as I am in my mid-30's), the Neutrogena oil-blotting paper line just doesn't cut it. So when I discovered the new Bare Minerals Matte Line I was very excited.I went to the Bare Escentuals website and based on their picture of an Asian woman I thought I was Golden Tan. Spent $30 to discover that the shade made me look like I was sunburned to a crisp. I kept it because it works great for shadow affects on the cheeks to make my face look slimmer. So I spent another $30 and bought Golden Medium, my original shade. This shade was too dark as well. I couldn't understand why Golden Medium Matte is DARKER than Golden Medium Original Foundation. It gave me this unnatural brownish tinge to my skin.I tried to make the Golden Medium Matte lighter by mixing it with Bisque (from their Multi-Tasking Line). It made it a little better but I had to use A LOT of Bisque to quiet down the brownish tinge affect. I don't understand why they would change the shades for Matte. So now I'm back at Amazon and hopefully 3rd time is the charm and I'm going to try Light Matte Foundation. But this has become a costly and expensive process. If you have light Asian skin tone like me, beware, the shades are not what you think. Might have been better if I went into Sephora to test-try it before buying. Of course hind-sight is always 20/20. I wish Bare Escentuals mentioned the shades for the Matte Foundation line and the Original Foundation line are different. As for the Matte affect, I still have to use oil blotting papers, just not as many.

Don’t trust - 10 years worth of bare minerals user
Packaging looks fake just wrapped in bubble wrap. I’ve brought from bare minerals for 10 years and the label at the bottom looks fake, the actual tub is very loose when you open it. Being a user of bare minerals when you open the lid the little label is always included in the lid but not this one! Minerals look quite cloggy! Only brought as was delivering same day as I needed make up for my lockdown birthday but not again - will go through John Lewis, look fantastic or bare minerals website in future

Disappointed
Not sure what’s happening but I’ve used minerals for years but this one seems to be quite clumpy on my face certainly isn’t very natural looking

Bare Minerals - always a great product
With a good make up primer I can use just the powder - no foundation and aged 70+ I think that's quite a commendation for it's coverage.
