Great car windshield rain repellent
The product is easy to apply and works much better than other brands like rain X that tend to streak. This water repellent lasts for a good three months even if you use your wiper blades I highly recommend this product.

Watch out for fakes
There is a video out there that tests Aquapel against others resulting - the reason for it's popularity. Worth a look if you are reading this. NOTE: There is a knock off using the same name that does not have the large blue logo on the left of the package. Once you 'crack open' the product it's unreturnable. Search "fake aquapel" before you buy, and note what the label should look like in the ad and what you receive. Provided you get the real thing, yes 5 stars

Works great but won’t stop a chattering wiper
Package arrived in a ziploc bag, none were broken. These things are bigger than I was imagining. You get plenty of juice in each one.Installation is a breeze. Make sure to follow the instructions on their website or on YouTube. Be sure to start with a really really clean windshield and to fully buff it off afterwards to maximize its life. I recommend driving into the sun after you’re done to check your work.Works fine as a rain repellent; as others said, it doesn’t really do much under 30 mph. Freeway speeds though, it’s great, it’s actually better without the wipers than with. As far as effectiveness it’s about the same as rain-x but I fully expect this stuff to last longer.I installed it primarily to stop a chattering wiper, thinking that if the surface is too “squeaky clean” it’ll grab the wiper as opposed to letting it slide over the surface. It definitely made the surface more slick - it’s no longer “squeaky” clean - but it does not prevent the wiper from chattering.Overall a good investment, and I would say it is indeed better than rain-x. Will update this post if longevity is an issue. I plan to reapply once a year.

Best Glass Treatment!
I've used Aquapel as a final step in my detailing for a couple years now. While a bit tricky it works wonderfully. My last treatment was still beading water a year after application (Minneapolis and kept in a garage.) I've been ordering from ZIC sales and getting genuine product at a great price for 2 years now!Tips: Clean the window well. Apply evenly and go over all surfaces a couple times. Use a lower lint paper towel like scotts shop glass towels. Work quick! Wipe off immediately after applying. Go over while area with paper towel and throw away. Keep using new towels as soon as they don't absorb anymore aquapel. The first few towels will only last seconds. Soon you will have perfectly clear glass.

No smeared rain on windows
While I don’t think the results are as good as rainex, the fact that it seems to last 6 times as long is great. Amazing for night driving in the rain, don’t even need to worry about using wipers.

It’s like industrial strength RainEx.
Clean your windshield thoroughly prior to applying Aquapel. Then be sure it is completely dry prior to applying the product. Pinch the wings together until you hear a snap. Then apply on half the windshield in smooth, broad horizontal strokes followed by smooth vertical strokes to get complete coverage. Then run to the other side and do the other half of the windshield in the same manner. Then go back to the first half and use several micro fiber cloths in a circular motion to remove the gel from the first half of the windshield. Do not take too much time. You must run to the other side and do the same with fresh micro fiber cloths before it drys. Do not let it dry on the windshield. Also, do NOT take the applicator all the way to any edge of the windshield. You cannot get any of the gel on any trim or paint. That’s it. Works well if you follow the instructions.

Not any better than Rain-X
You need to go online to get the instructions for use. I followed them, doing one half of the windshield at a time. The important point you learn about is that this stuff dries rapidly and if you let it completely dry you'll have a terrible time wiping it off.Nevertheless, it's not any better than Rain-X. Which is a lot easier to apply

Not impressed - a TOTAL waste of money
First, the product came in a simple box with absolutely no instructions pertaining to the application of the product. I found a video on You Tube and after watching thought, "That is simple and straight forward. Even a 73 year-old should be able to handle it." I washed the car, and then spent thirty minutes cleaning the windshield with Stoner's Invisible Glass. Now, I was ready to "crack" open the first applicator. NOTHING!! I squeezed and smashed trying to get some product to flow with no success. I tried another applicator and this time got a feeble amount but nothing like the demo showed. No way to get product on in two directions and then have a wet windshield. Third applicator finally worked like shown. So, I used four of the applicators to get the windshield and a very small back window done. It was almost impossible to polish the haze out but lots of elbow grease finally got most of it. (Strangely, after waiting the haze seemed to disappear somewhat.)That was two days ago. Today we had a bit of a drizzle. It was like the rain was GLUED to the windshield! Forty-five miles an hour and no little drops sliding up and off. I would like to actually see the product working but there is no way I am going to spend any more money and I seriously doubt that I will be receiving any help from the seller. AVOID this product. NOTE: The seller did replace the three applicators I wasted but would not toss in the removal pads.2 April EDITED - Tried to apply a second coat of the stuff. Great difficulty getting rid of residue. I thought I had the windshield polished and clean but the next day could see haze. I thought I would waste a microfibre on it but it just rolled up a white crud which I vacuumed off. I then spritzed with water and polished to a smooth finish. I thought I had finally won! This morning when driving into the sun I could barely see through the streaks. I am now going to clean the windshield with Invisible Glass and see what happens. Totally ROTTEN PRODUCT in my opinion.
