Sightmark 3X Tactical Magnifier Slide to Side,3x29mm,SM19024

finally had the chance to put this through the paces... I was impressed again by this company's quality, the unit is solid and even once fumbling and dropping it to the ground didn't make a dent. (I borrowed it to a buddy to try out and it was dropped about 4' to the concrete). works great with the sight mark dual reticle unit i had previously. a little tight fitting to the top rail of my DPMS ar 15, but it works. i would recommend this unit for the money. Oh yeah, i love the slide to side feature as well, not sure when hunting if i'll ever need to do that as the sight picture seems fairly wide from 25yds - 100yds...

I'll say first and foremost, this 3x magnifier does exactly what I wanted it to do with my Eotech xps2-0 mounted on my 5.56 AR15. That being said, there are a few cons which I like to start with.When the magnifier is flipped to the side, it SLIGHTLY gets in the way of my charging handle on my AR 15. This is not a major issue as some people might mount it further forward than I do.The unit is very secure to the picatinny rail, however, the slide to side mechanism wobbles a little. It functions perfectly and doesn't slide to the side without me wanting it too, BUT, it just isn't totally "locked in place" whether its up or to the side. But again, it never falls to the side or flips up unless I want it too. (There are youtube videos demonstrating this)The glass is what you'd expect from any low to mid quality optic. Its good enough in good light, especially if your main optic has quality glass. Until you shoot in low light/nearly dark, the magnifier has a good picture.Pro: The quick detach mount is CRUCIAL. Personally, everything except my MBUS's are quick detach. Obviously, the magnifier does not have to remain zeroed, so taking it off and on is convenient.Ive never held one of the Eotech FTS magnifiers, so I can't compare weight, but, I don't think the Sightmark is exceptionally heavy OR light. I do find myself taking it off when I'm home and most likely wont need it.It seems extremely durable. My rifle (with the Sightmark 3x magnifier attached) has been thrown into a truck or two. It's been left outside many times in heat and snow. It's been rained on and splattered with mud. The glass on the sightmark is not scratched. There is no condensation inside the housing. It functions the way it always has.Final thoughts: Id go for the 5x power. 3x gets me pretty consistent groups out to 375-400, but, when shooting a 12" plate at 500-700 yards, the 3x does just doesn't cut it.

Really impressed with Sightmarks optics as i've already have one of their holographic red dots . This 3x Magnifier has very clear lens/optics and easily can view you target even up to 100 yards . Alot of people complained that the 3x magnifiers optics/lens are very blurry or out of focus but if they spent the time to adjust the eye piece to get their optic into focus they wouldn't have that complaint . All i had to do was just turn the eye piece a few turns and the field of view as i mentioned was very clear/crisp Now with both the magnifier and the Sight mark #14002 Red Dot mounted onto my Hi point 995TS Carbine the 3x magnifier really enhances the red dots ability to acquire targets easily out to 100yards with ease . It was very easy to mount onto my Carbine and took less than a couple minutes to secure onto the weaver/pictinny rail .to adjust the mount onto the rail it was very easy as all you had to do was turn the handle clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust then pull down on the quick detach lever to lock it into place . The Slide to side feature on the 3x magnifiers mount is very easy to operate and not as difficult as others have mentioned also . the slide to side mechanism slides easily and locks into place with no issues at all and then unlocks easily to move the magnifier out of the way from your red dot . The ease of adjustment on the magnifier to adjust windage and elevation to get it lined up with your red dot is very easy and lines up perfectly with my red dot I would definitely recommend this magnifier and any other Sightmark optic to friends and i give this a 5 star rating as i can see nothing wrong with this product at all

Works nicely with my sightmark reflex sight. Quick detach lever is nice. Can swing out on either side... Lever can face forward or backwards.Mine did have some signs of wear n tear. Slight paint chipping on the edges of scope. But that might just be the one I bought.3x magnification is for target shooting up to 1000 yards and target acquisition of 1500 yards.Good for short to medium distance or on smaller caliber firearms. I have it mounted on my CX4 with dual charging handles and it dosn't interfere with the operation of the rifle

Comes perfect, build quality is awsome only problem is could have been more cheaper compared from other magnify scopes out there

I am not sure if it is me or the unit but I went through two of these things and i could not get ride of the blurry red dot (cherry effect). I tried everything to get it to work. I really wanted to like this but I will not be recommending it to others.
