A must have for charity.
What a wonderful way to support a very worthy cause/charity. Thank you, thank you, thank you Stella Artois for lending your name/brand and creating an alliance with water.org -- via Matt Damon. This is a beautiful glass and the etching of the country of the woman that I chose to support is exquisite and the chalice, itself, is a stunning addition to my glass ware and allows me to share with others the opportunity to support this worthy cause. It would have been worth it if my small contribution had helped just one woman have access to clean water for one year, but 5 YEARS of clean water -- amazing and wonderful. Thank you to all of the people behind the scenes who put the promotion together -- I have seen this charity in print ads, TV, internet, etc. and it constantly invites everyone to give the most that they can afford to give someone else some clean water. Thank you to all of the people on the ground in the various countries that you can select to receive your support for making the clean water available and identifying who/what/when/where the need is greatest. I encourage you -- even if you don't drink, don't like beer, don't like anything -- please purchase this charitable representation of clean water -- give it as a gift, keep it to remind you of how lucky we are to have access to clean and drinkable water or put it in next box going to your favorite charity -- but please give other people what we take so very much for granted -- clean, clear, lovely, drinkable water that is more accessible, more plentiful and more enjoyable for families around the world.

Great cause.
It's 2022 and I still have this in great condition, even after repeated use. The design is still there and no chipping at all!

Give the Lady a Drink! Wonderfully positive action to combat 3rd world drinking water shortage.
This charity is absolutely the tops in actually DOING something to improve lives in the 3rd world. I especially like the emphasis on helping women - they're the ones trekking down to the water source, filling up every container they can handle and then trekking back home with cans and jugs balanced on their heads. Then REPEAT the whole thing in the evening. I was so impressed I bought a glass for every female in my family. Amazon was the only problem. I ordered two different ones for me (one from Kenya and one from Haiti), but got two of the same country, Haiti. I sent one back asking for the Kenya glass and the Haiti glass was sent again. Sheesshh. Still trying to work that little snarl out.

Beauty and Utility for a Great Cause!
This product caught my eye because we have owned the original Stella Artois Chalises for years. But when you couple them with this incredible program for water for women it us a no-brainer. The women for whom the program is targeted must spend inordinate amounts of their day just to have the basics of water every day. The purchase of every chalice guarantees five years of water to one woman! How amazing! And I got a beautiful chalice that was specific to the country targeted! I bought a dozen of these, not because I really needed them, but because of their beauty and the good they would do. Jump on board these limited edition chalices! You won't be sorry.

GREAT!!! BUT
The glasses are wonderfully. I asked my boyfriend for all three for valentines n he ordered them on the 6th, and they took forever to come. When they got here there wasn't any type of packaging material just three glasses in partial boxes that leaves a lot of the glass exploded. The box was three times the size so they was just free to move all around the box. Luckily none of them broke and I do love them. I hope they really do help women get water Cuz that's the best part of the gift to me. Amazon put them unavailable maybe for the same reason...so I'm just gonna assume they are on top of it and give em 5 * anyway.

Greed ruins the cause
I bought 2 of these when I first saw the ad on tv, they were each $12 and they are just beautiful. When I went back to purchase more for gifts, the price is $39 and up! WTH?? Surely they aren't giving more money to the cause; someone is really benefiting from this by hiking up the price to a ridiculous amount. It's too bad, I'm sure the volume of purchase has gone way down since the beginning because of this, and as a result there is less contribution to the charitable portion. I will not pay that much for these glasses.

Five Stars
Very nice chalice. Packed well in commemorative box. Helps a great cause. Very pleased with this item. I'm adding photos - front & back - of the Honduras chalice. I put tissue paper in it so you can see the design/wording better. I believe my chalices are second versions - earlier reviews state that the back of the chalices had water written in English and the native language of the area that the chalice is from (Ethiopia, Honduras or India). My chalices have "Stella Artois supports water.org" and the logo for water.org on the back of them

Bought them for the Water Project, delighted with the beauty and quality of the glasses.
They are a beautifully made high quality well constructed item. At a time in my life when I am giving away, rather than acquiring possessions, I decided that I would give away something else to make room in my life to keep these. Of course, if it were not for the association with the water project I would not have dreamed of buying, but how could I not. The fact that they are gorgeous was an added plus. I will be ordering more for gifts.
