Shark Cordless Rechargeable Floor & Carpet Sweeper V2700Z

The is the best sweeper I have purchased that works great, keeps a charge well and the size is perfect.

Arrived on time and works great.Very easy to assemble.I elected the 10" model, over the wider one, to get into small spaces, like bathrooms, closets etc. It's light weight which makes it very maneuverable and the suction is nearly as good as my full sized vacuum cleaner. I would recommend this to a friend.Note: The rechargeable battery is NOT an Ion Lithium and consequently needs to be charged when the battery is fully discharged. Rechargeable alkaline batteries will develop a "memory". That means that if the battery is half discharged and you put it on charge, it may put that in "memory" and the next time you charge it up, it may only charge half way, the amount the last time you charged it up. It's a good practice to let the battery run all the way down before you put it back on the charger to insure you are getting a full charge. Also, once the battery is fully charged, unplug it from the wall outlet to help extend the battery life.

My friend told me about her Shark and then I suggested to my sister-in-law that she buy one for her camper since it stores very flat. This little gem will sell itself!

Piece of JUNK.... there is a note in the box that says DO NOT return to sstore where you bought it. The motor is weak and will not pick up hair or crushed chips,, I know I threw it on the floor to see and it does not even pick up. About the HANDLE... once you put the Handle together you CANNOT take it apart, when I called SHARK about taking it apart so I could return it, she messeed around and ended up telling me to have 2 strong people...."try to pull it apart, I'm sorry that is all I know to tell you to do". "Maybe Amazon will return your money if you ship it back." Well, how can I ship it back when I cannot get the Handle apart to box it up. Very upset worst purchase ever. I owned a previous shark rechargeable and this one is far cheaper made and does not work, so disappointed. I didn't even want to give it one star, but you cannot post until you do!!!

I was going to give this 2 stars, then I bought, the Bissel Turbo sweeper. Performance wise they are about the same, neither can do edges, and both pick up what you expect them to pick up. However, emptying the Shark is a breeze, and not so much with the Bissel. These are sweepers, not vacuum cleaners, and they work well as sweepers, so I don't have to use a broom - except along the baseline and in corners. Sweepers don't do baselines and corners, LOL.

I bought this to replace my 13" Shark touchless (snapped the stick in half going against the grain of a low pile rug, unbelievable) and I didn't expect to like this more! It was meant to be a "cheaper" quick replacement but I'm very pleased with it. It is sooooo lightweight. It is one speed but picks up very well on my hardwood, laminate, and low pile rugs. It doesn't get caught up and pull at any of my rugs. I can sweep bathroom rugs and kitchen rugs easily without it pulling the rug up or moving it. Super pleased with this product. 👌🏻

I just love this sweeper. I killed the handle on my old one when I tripped and knocked a crock pot onto the handle. I tried to rig up a handle but it never was quite right and decided to replace. I have a guinea piggie who throws her hay out of her cage. This picks it up with no problem! It really does an excellent job on surface dirt. I use it on both my carpet (where my messy piggie is) and also sometimes on my tile kitchen floor for crumbs.

I purchased this sweep some time ago, and wasn't very impressed when I first started using it. I decided to wait to review until I gave it an honest shot. Pros: low cost, lightweight, good with pet hair, good battery life. Cons: does not really work on any type of rug or carpet, works best when being pushed forward & often have to go over the area several times to pick up small stuff. In general, I would not recommend. Looking for something better.
