Amazing for the price
Ran these MTX dual 12s in my 2006 Mustang powered by an Alpine S A60M and they hit hard for the price. Good low end punch without sounding muddy, and they handled power well as long as they were tuned correctly. I’ve since moved them over to my Silverado with a different amp and they’re still going strong. For a budget friendly setup they perform really well and hold up over time. Definitely a solid option if you want strong bass without spending a ton.

Absolutely AMAZING!
For starters, this box was reasonably priced at $229. However, I opted to buy "used like new" when it arrived I opened it and expected some dings or tears in the material, but this thing was absolutely flawless. It looked brand new. I chose this particular box because of its newly added port as the older ones sounded a little punchy. It's got a contoured back so it fits in my 2013 Dodge Ram perfectly flush and doesn't move around like my previous flat backed box. It was basically plug and play, as everything was already wired up internally so I didn't have to make any modifications. My amp was already pre-installed, and it is a 1000W Rockford Fosgate. I had to tone it down a little bit for the initial break in period of the speakers, I took it easy on them for about a week and let me tell you, these things POUND! 1200 watts each, and they handle the amp well. These at first by their price seemed a little bit lower end on the spectrum, but I was dead wrong. You can spend more money if you want, but the results I've gotten out of these speakers have me slack jawed. Because of the newly added Port they've done to The Terminator box, the differences are very noticeable. I've considered buying another one just to have on standby should I ever blow them. But that seems doubtful as I've run them pretty hard. Couldn't be more pleased with these, and I got almost $100 off for buying used like new. Way to go MTX for upping your game! By the way little side note, got it delivered in one day, so Amazon gets a shout out as well 🤘

SOUNDS RAD
For the price these hit hard. I was skeptical cause of the cheap price but they are amazing. I got lucky, I caught these and the boss amp/wiring kit on a really good sale. I got everything needed for $350 then went to Best Buy where they installed them THE SAME DAY I got them for $149. So from start to finish $600 for everything done, is nuts. Highly recommend. If your dash kit is too expensive or you don’t have the money for a head unit, just buy a Line Output Converter which allows you to connect your subs and amp to your stock radio. That’s what I did, and I use a Bluetooth transmitter and they hit hard and sound good. If you’re on a budget then go with these and the boss amp, and boss wiring kit. Call your local Best Buy set up appointment and boom. DONE

CHECK WIRING!!!!!
I won't take anything away from these subs. The package is a good deal and the subs were pretty good. HOWEVER, there are a couple things you need to know if you don't already. What REALLY matters is what the RMS wattage is of your amp and subs and to properly match them to get the most out of both the amp and subs. The "1200 watts" listed in the title means nothing, same with your amp. What you want to look for is the RMS wattage. Individually these subs are 4 ohm subs at 200 watts RMS each, which is fine. They advertise that the subs are wired inside the box (parallel) so that the final impedence is 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Which is exactly what you would get wiring them in parallel. I have a mono block amp, one channel, that pushes 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, which is a good match for these subs. Just don't crank up the gain too far and you can push the subs to the max. UNFORTUNATELY, these subs started to go after about two weeks. They are in my son's car and I attributed the failure to him jacking the amp gain up too high, which he said he didn't. So, we bought another pair of higher RMS rated subs to throw in the box. Popped open the box and the original subs were NOT WIRED IN PARALLEL !!! They were wired in the standard fashion resulting in 4 ohms at 200 watts RMS final. If you buy these, CHECK THE WIRING. There is enough wire in the box to wire them properly. Hope this helps. 5 stars for the package and price, 4 stars for wrong wiring in the box.

Awesome subs
This easily the smartest and best way I have ever spent 185 bucks! I have a 1500 watt amp and the subs knockkkkkk. Your not finding dbl 12s for anything near this price that hit like these do! I highly advise ppl to buy these but just make sure you have the right amp and tune your amp accordingly

wouldnt recommend
the enclosure is made well enough, but these sub in NO WAY handle 2000w max. i have a 1000w us amp, and after a decent break in period, i kicked it up a bit. within 2 minutes i could smell the voice coils starting to toast. mtx was a good and common brand back in the 90s, but as others have reported on here, they are definitely of lesser quality now. they did not survive even HALF of what they say theyre rated to handle. ill re-use the box, but go with a better brand of speaker to put in it. i wouldnt recommend this product!

These bad boys Hit
What can I say other than these budget bad boys smack. I put them in a 2020 GMC Terrain and added a DS 18 candy 1800 watt amp. Gains on amp 1/2 way and no bass boost and they knock. Old Gen X bass head from the DJ Magic Mike days so I know a little about bass. Buy them you won’t be disappointed.
