Taco 0011-F4 1/8-HP Cast Iron Cartridge Circulating Pump

It was listed as used at a low price. Arrived quickly and looked like brand new. If it was refurbished I could not notice that. Usually, even if it was used for a short time, there would be some rust damage to the inner metal surfaces. This one had none. Installed easy and has been working quietly ever since. Love it! Great seller, great delivery, great product.

One thing I noticed over my old pump is how quiet this is compared to it. Amazingly quiet.

The pump was delivered quickly.Exactly as advertised.It is working away as I type this circulating hot water in my house.Nicely done!

This is a high head pump meant to push water through a heating coil or other highly restrictive hydronic zone. Do not use on a normal residential system or you risk increased and unacceptable system noise, or worse, pipe/fitting erosion.This pump will fit between and on almost all "00" flange sets, and only need standard 120v power supply through any standard relay..plug and play easy installation.Taco circulators have a three year factory warranty, so check the date stamp on the electrical box on the pump for manufactured date. Any Taco distributor should be able to replace over the counter in the even of premature failure (as long as you are less than three years from the stamped date).Cast iron construction, means not suitable for potable water application or open systems.

I have had horrible service from this seller! I cannot tell you how frustrated (I have another word for it, but will not type it here) I am. We had this pump in our wood boiler for 2 days, then it broke. We had to use the working part of this new pump to combine with the working part of our old pump to temporarily have heat for our house. It's Upstate NY and 20 degrees at night/35-40 degrees during the day. This is our only source of heat. When requesting a replacement, Amazon is saying that the pump was distributed by the seller and they have no control over it. HVAC is saying that all there items are stored at an Amazon warehouse and that they need to be the company that issues a replacement. I have spoken with at least 5 different Amazon representatives - each saying the same thing "we will reach out to the seller and the seller will respond within 2 business days. We will let you know what they say". Now, the biggest issue is that the seller wants me to return the damaged item before they issue a replacement. I've explained over and over again that we have combined working parts from the old one with the new one and cannot return the damaged pump until a replacement arrives as we have no source of heat without it. I keep getting the same answers and I feel like no one is helping me! If you value staying warm in the fall and winter months, do NOT buy from this seller. I'm also very disappointed in Amazon for not provided adequate assistance with this matter. This has been a horrible experience and I shouldn't have to go through this much trouble! Please be careful with this seller!11/25/2024 - Update - Amazon is now refunding my money for this defective item. I was told this seller is no longer connected to Amazon. Thank you to the Amazon rep who was able to provide a partial resolution. We still need to purchase a pump from another business, but at least I now have the money to do so and I can keep our combined pump so we have heat until we get the new (and hopefully non-defective) pump in place.

Don't waste your money on other pumps. Speaking from experience if you need a pump that can handle high water temperature and runs for years without issue TACO is the only way to go. My last one lasted 12 years working every day for a minimum of 12 hours per day. It was still working when we replaced it; so now it's the back up. Great pumps.

Pump arrived in good condition and works as advertised. Good price.

I am looking for a different pump manufacturer, these pumps are too expensive, can't find just a cartridge replacement , the propellers are plastic and the pumps freeze often. I've had to shut the furnace down in freezing temps to unseize the pump, this is our 3rd taco pump replacement and yet I have other pump makers that still work with no issue after 23 years of use.
