This is one of those rare products that make you ask yourself how you lived without it. I should have bought this long ago. I bought it with 6 extra filters so I don't need to worry later. The suction power on this hand vac is the best I've ever seen. My once-a-week housekeeper said the same thing. A friend asked to borrow it down the hall to clean some kitty litter. I use it several times a day for one thing or another. It works as well on hardwood floors as carpets. There is an attached flip brush that pulls down to gather hair, etc. I have many plants in my apartment and even with plastic mats for transplanting this B & D hand vac is great for picking up dry dirt, small pieces of gravel, small plant debris, etc. I already have vacuumed my car. I have emptied it a couple of times and it opens very easily. I haven't had to change filters yet but that is super easy as well. It is so easy to rinse out the plastic debris container and the filter as well. The charger plugs into the wall with an electric cord and the vac sets on its base to charge quickly. I highly recommend this Black and Decker hand vac and would give it 10 stars if I could. It changed my life.

This vacuum has great suction for its size. It’s perfect for quick cleanups around the house and getting into tight corners in the car. Battery life is solid!

Vacuum has great suction. I was gifted almost the same one but the charger was different in that it was a wall charger which this one is not, its a plate charger so it takes a little more room for charging. But overall it’s a great vacuum. I purchased mostly to pick up the kitty litter around their box that kitties kick out., super great for that and much more!

Works as advertised. Powerful motor. Is noisy. Is easy to clean filter.

We have had one of these for a while, and we use it constantly. Literally every single day. With pets and kids, it's really convenient to have a handheld vacuum instead of using brooms or getting out a big vacuum. A couple of weeks ago the battery started going, where it would shut itself off after a minute. I decided it was time to replace it, so I went back in my orders and found out that I had bought it more than 8 years ago. And this was 8 years of hard use. I ordered the exact same model again, because it's been so reliable for so long. Yeah, it's loud. But it has a long battery life and will suck up pretty much anything, and we haven't had any issues with it for all these years. I hope the new one lasts as long as the last.

I was using the standard Dustbuster to clean my car interior daily but it wasn't doing the job, so I "upgraded" to this one. As other reviewers have written, the 20V power is the best aspect. Those who say the vacuum is not that noisy... their hearing must have been shot already. This is the noisiest vacuum I have ever owned, and it's of a particularly irritating quality that gets to your ears, possibly damaging your hearing. Some of the add-on features like the flip-on brush and rotating base do not work that well and are finicky. I have removed the brush because it will fall off under use anyway, and I keep the rotation fixed in standard position because it will otherwise tend to also fall off during a vacuuming session. The nozzle shape is slightly narrower to help in tighter spaces in the car, but the extended nozzle feature is so finnicky to get in/out that it is not worth bothering to use. The overall shape is still not the greatest for crevasses in the car, compared to a slender nozzle from say a plugged in home vacuum console or the ones at the car wash. The plastic pre-filter is a bit useless also. The filter must be cleaned often. Also the snap-on geometry is not so robust because the nozzle side slot area will flex, so make sure the tab is inserted fully when the motor/handle side is set back in place. For me, the charge lasts enough for 2.5 days so I usually charge it every other day. Not enough juice to use 3 days in a row. At least the charger base is an improvement instead of plugging it in, and the light helps to make sure the unit is connected properly. I do like the upright orientation of the charging position which uses less floor space, as well as the fact that no wall-mounting is needed. Overall, this is an improvement over my old standard Dustbuster whose battery was starting to get weak, but honestly I wish there was something better out there.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient handheld vacuum for everyday cleaning needs.

Nice little vacuum but no British plug or adapter? For that it gets a 3* review and not a 4*. Supplier must do better. Clearly know I live in the UK from the delivery address.

Probably one of the best portable vacuums we have ever had. Purchased this model 8 years ago and it’s finally slowly refusing to charge. After buying dozens of these over the years for home and business the 12V and 20V units hold up very well. Pity a previous reviewer didn’t use due diligence in researching his purchase. Caveat Emptor. A simple inexpensive voltage converter cures the differential. This product originates in the US, so logical step would be determine the operating voltage before purchase. Of the myriad of international products introduced the Singapore shores a savvy shopper would know this. Purchased this replacement model before they disappear forever since we can’t find a like unit from a different manufacturer. I am very happy with this unit - the filter is almost indestructible and the longevity is commendable. Sadly, DustBuster has discontinued this model.
