14 Piece SK5 Carbon Steel Wood Carving Tool Set with Whetstone and Protective Case

The carving set works great. If you don't already have one, I'd recommend getting a cutting glove with your order as the tools are VERY sharp. I had made the purchase late so figured it would not arrive for Christmas. Even the 'expected deliver by' date range had the arrival time as after Christmas but it got there early and I was able to wrap it up and have it under the tree. Thank you! To return back to the glove suggestion, if you don't want to buy the glove (after buying the carving kit, the blocks of wood, a carving instruction book with designs, and all the other gifts I'd bought, I didn't purchase the glove either), you might want to invest in a first aid kit with an emphasis on butterfly bandaids, superglue, etc. We fortunately already had that but.... yeah.. It is surprising... You'd think people would learn from others mistakes however three adults attempted carving, the first aid kit needs replenished, and that glove is on order now..

This is a great beginner's set. Easy to use and easy to sharpen.

Cool little set

I am a beginner, so I imagine this is great, although, it says it comes with 14 pieces, but there’s only twelve. It comes pretty sharp (the tools I mean) but the cover of the tools really doesn’t fit, and falls off easily.

I know the set is inexpensive however I did expect a better product than these. I wouldn't suggest buying for a beginner because I believe starting out with these tools can only cause frustrating for the newby. Outside of the case is nice, not sure how long the inside retaining elastic and mesh material will last .

Accidentally chipped a blade cuz I'm a beginner but it's all good cuz I have a bunch left lol. Might just get more sometime idk

It says 14 piece, but I only receive 12 tools.. but maybe if the bag’s included and the sharpening thing, okay that’s 14 but please give proper details to your product. 😞 but, the tools are nice, easy grip and good for beginners.

These are definitely not expensive, well made tools. They allowed my daughter to get the feel of the work but we will definitely be upgrading. One of the tips wasn't even sharpened correctly when they arrived and needed to be fixed before use. The metal also doesn't remain sharp very long at all. The carrying case is well made and the plastic safety covers for the chisels is appreciated.
