It fixed a long running digestive issue
Update: Everything is still going fine with our dog, but unfortunately the product is no longer available here and the Petultimates website won't ship to Canada. We are running low and fear our dog will return to her old ways because the seller stoped proving this and can't give a date when or if it will be available again. I wish I knew of somewhere else to get this stuff from. I guess we will just have to try something local and hope the problems don't come back.We have been dealing with diarrhea with our dog on and off for years. She has also been on and off antibiotics for a long time too and the vet suggested a probiotic. They carried the Purina brand in the black box. It's hard to say for sure that this stuff made it worse, but it certainly didnt help. Perhaps we didnt give it enough time, but a couple days was all we could handle. We assumed probiotics didnt work for her but after a few more months of the poor dog having issues every week or two we thought maybe we should try a different brand and found this stuff. It made an almost immediate difference. Her habits outside including the frequency and look of what she "deposits" out there are so much better. She used to go 3-5 times per day, even when what was coming out seemed fine and solid. Now it is 1, maybe 2 times per day and there really isn't any pacing or straining anymore. It has been almost 5 weeks with no issues at all. Hopefully this is the missing puzzle piece that keeps her happy, and in turn me happy.Anyone having similar issues I would strongly suggest this probiotic, and if it doesnt work, perhaps try another. I wish we would have tried this after the Purina brand and not waited so long.

Little specs of brown are totally normal.
Okay, I'm changing my review. I don't know how many of read about the brown (kind of a toffee color) spot that were in my second jar of this product but that's what this review is now about, the product as a whole as well as the service provided by business owner (well I think he's the business owner).I am new to this product and just finished my first jar. The first jar that I received the powder was pure white so since that's what I received initially that's what I expected on my second jar. When I received the second jar with the brown color spots I contacted Amazon's customer service center but they were not aware that this is actually normal for the product.I posted the rating; last night I think, and today I received a notification from Amazon that I had been refunded. Then I received this email. This is just a short of the email from Brad Richards (I think he's the owner)."I'm so sorry about the little brown specks in the probiotic. The specks are actually part of the normal variability of the organic process by which our probiotics are grown. But I know that they bother you, so this is what I have done:1) I refunded you in full ($41.10) for that jar.2) I also sent you a free jar from a batch that has the pure white appearance that you prefer."Had I know that the brown spots were normal I would have kept right on using the product without complaint. To receive a second jar for free though blew me away. This is a company that stands behind their product, addresses your concerns, and gives top notch customer service. You can't go wrong....really, really!I'm attaching a few of pictures so that if you ever have speckled power you'll be able to see that it's totally normal too. Thanks for the amazing service and great product!

Seems to work well for yeasty skin irritations
My dog had VERY itchy red skin and a yeasty smell, especially on her belly. We tried putting cornstarch on it, then tried baby powder. Everything seemed to help a little bit for a little while--but then the furious itching would return. She spent so much time chewing on her skin it was like she did little else while she was awake. And then she would wake in the middle of the night, scratching and chewing even more. The vet saw her in the middle of my powdering attempts, and he said to bring her back if it didn't get better. I know from experience that there isn't a lot they can do for itchiness. Unless it's something simple like fleas, it's a long battle with various drugs and topical agents that aren't wonderful for dogs to ingest. Or the dreaded Prednisone, which works wonders in the short term, but is terrible for long-term health. So, I decided to try this stuff before going down the veterinary medicine road. Honestly, the first day she was BETTER. She fell into a deep sleep on the sofa like she was SO relieved. I am very skeptical of these things, and I immediately emailed a friend with more experience--don't dietary supplements take weeks to work?? The next day, there was more itchiness, more chewing... But it was less, and it went away a bit more the next day. Over the next few weeks, it would come and go instead of being a constant thing. After a month, the yeasty moist skin, redness, and non-stop chewing was completely gone. We finished our first jar of probiotics today (I think it lasted about 3 months and she is a big girl). She smells better, isn't chewing and scratching anymore, and seems WAY happier. I don't know how this works, but it really did the trick for my dog. I think it depends on the cause. If your dog has allergies, it may or may not work. I'm pretty sure my dog had some type of skin yeast infection, and this did a great job of wiping it out! I'm waiting for my second jar to arrive! My dog is 65 pounds and had no digestive issues with the powder. I want to keep her on it since she's getting older and will be more susceptible to health issues. Since this isn't a drug, and it definitely helped, I'm hoping to head off other problems by continuing to use it.

PRODUCT DIDN'T WORK FOR US, BUT IMPRESSED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE
We have a 13 pound fur baby who suffers from reflux. She was already on a chewable probiotic but this one was highly recommended so thought we would try it. Obviously we stopped giving her the one we had been giving her when we started this. She wouldn't eat her food at all with this added to it without me adding something else to it and mixing it all together with this powder...and she still then picked and sorted her food. Then she got so she wouldn't eat, took all day to poop and one day went without pooping, then it got so she didn't want to pee first thing in the a.m. and would be about 10 a.m. before she'd even do that. Normally she'd want out by 7. Then we noticed she wasn't peeing as much thru the day either. We have taken her off from it and hope we can get a refund. We'll go back to the original pro we were using. I really hoped this would help so we are a bit disappointed. All we can do is try for our pups, right?THIS IS AN UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST; I emailed the company shortly after I posted my review telling them of the issues we had and asked if there was any way possible to get a refund. Within minutes of my early morning email, they responded and told me they had issued a refund and apologized for the inconvenience! Although the product did not work for us, the company's customer service is top notch.
