This works well, slicing your bagels easily and more conveniently than the bread knife, with less mess. Pop it in the dishwasher and it's clean.It needs round bagels to work effectively. The point of the guillotine tends to squash the bagel down a little as it pierces the crust, and if you've a deformed bagel this can result in the 'squishing' some non-reviewers have moaned about. I bought one packet of oval bagels (they looked alright in the bag) of which the first bagel squished. I turned the next so that the pointy end was as far up as the holder allowed, and the rest of the packed cut satisfactorily.

We acquired this in December 2019 and for probably the first few months it was great for safely slicing bagels. Unfortunately the quality of the blade is coming through now and it has no means of being kept sharp. The result is squashed and shredded bagels which defeats the whole purpose of the item.While the price is low I don't feel it reflects less than 6 months of use. I could accept 1 year of use as a minimum. Definitely one to avoid and look elsewhere for a better quality product.

Nice and simple to use but the blade could be sharper as it squashes the bagel and doesn't quite cut through. Blade can be sharpened by taking it out of the cover.Overall a good design and good value for money.

Ok yes, it’s a bagel cutter not much to report.However, it’s made to a very high standard and makes slicing bagels super easy and danger free, each one comes out perfectly evenly cut in half ready for toasting.If you’re looking for a bagel cutter, I would recommend this one for sure.

So it ticks all the boxes on being easy to use, clean etc but where I've marked this down to 2 stars is due to the fact it squashes a bit more than it slices.It seems good for the price but if you want a decent slice then might look to spend a bit more money??

To watch my daughter grow and want to cook her own breakfast is one thing but to watch her with a knife, not just yet, please. This kitchen product is perfect for little ones and is very simple to use. Great product.

The product works perfectly, I keep my bagels in the fridge so when I take them out there a tiny bit stiffer then if I had them out, but with this bagel guillotine it cuts it in half no problem and perfectly every time as long as the bagel is not misshaped you'll get an even half and half cut right down the middle! I definitely recommend this to anyone. It is way faster and easier than using a knife to try and cut a bagel in half perfectly.
