The platinum branding design on these floral veil bone chinaware is an gorgeous place setting to adorn the table. It goes well with many varieties of tablecloth as well as many varieties of other place settings. The white floral design even lets you mix and match with some of the turquoise colored plates with the floral designs. One thing that might be interesting things for this set is the cup design. The cup design is more of the square shape design so it is an odd one to put in with some of the other cups that are offered in these sets. So be wary about putting it with other sets if you are concerned with consistency in cup design.Otherwise it is a fantastic set that is very sturdy and strong and elegant.

Very high quality, durable, and well made set of Floral Veil Bone China. The design is elegant and would look very nice on a long dining table. On a side note, my package arrived with some damage .. a broken tea plate. In my opinion the packaging needs more padding to protect the contents especially since each piece is placed in close contact to each other. And also the tea cup is a bit uncomfortable for me to drink out of because of the raised floral design on the upper outer edge of the cup. Otherwise very nice set and would make a great item too.

The Lenox Floral Veil Bone China Platinum Banded dinner set is very beautiful and perfectly constructed. The China is very elegant and you can use these plates to show off when you are having an elegant dinner. The china is sturdy but it still looks delicate and you might want to use this China only for special occasions.Very classy dinnerware and I love them.

This is a beautiful set of fine china. Each piece is ecru, with platinum along the inner and outer rims. There is a raised pattern of vines and flowers. Not an every day set, as this is too formal and delicate.The five piece set includes a cup and saucer, and three plates (dinner, salad, bread and butter). Dishwasher safe and packed really well. Highly recommended!

Like viewing any object that reveals the artistry of its maker, I spent a fair amount of time just gazing at this elegant Lenox bone china dinnerware after removing it from its box. This five-piece place setting for 1 is proof that beauty and simplicity are closely related. The only color variation is the spare platinum banding around the edge of each piece, causing the eye to focus on the lovely floral pattern decorating the circumference of each dish. Even more striking is the comparatively larger floral design encircling the teacup, essentially a miniature bas-relief sculpture that is one of the highlights of the five pieces. I was so fascinated by the beauty of this five-piece place setting that I read-up on the manufacturing of bone china, its history and the nature of the craftsmanship required to produce such superb pottery. Newly enlightened, I immediately verified the "transparency" of each piece by holding a finger behind it and seeing it quite clearly in ordinary light.Lenox is the only major manufacturer of bone china in the United States, which means that many of their creations have intrinsic historical interest. I never had the luxury of receiving a bridal shower and guilting, er, asking family/friends for fine China. ;) Even though I knew I was only getting one setting I wanted to see if this was worth the money....and it is. What's nice is there are five pieces. When you buy "sets" you often get four and a bowl (which some people may want here).The edging is accented with platinum and is absolutely gorgeous. I used to think gold was but this has totally changed my mind about accents. You might think it's plain white, but it isn't. There is a beautiful floral pattern. I've attached a photo.My only dilemma? How to afford 3-7 more settings, accessories, etc.... 8)

Another gorgeous place setting from Lenox. This set is less a statement set and more sheer, simple elegance. The pattern is simple and delicate with a white on white raised floral pattern around the edges nestled between two lines of shimmering platinum. I think this is my favorite set. For those of you who prefer a place setting that is elegant and minimalistic in its beauty, this is the set for you. They arrived packaged very well and in perfect condition which is saying a lot considering the fact that these were shipped during the holidays and at the busiest time for UPS.This is one place setting. You get one dinner plate, one salad plate, one butter plate, and one cup and saucer. A beautiful and elegant place setting.

This style is delicate and beautiful, featuring a raised-texture floral vine design along the rim. Many of the plantinum-banded Lenox designs have a more modern, sophisticated and sleek look. This design is more romantic and light. If you like to plate your dinners with sauce accents along the plate edge, this wide textured edge is not ideal (for visual effect or cleaning) but otherwise this design is very inviting! Lenox quality is evident in this fine bone china.

This place setting is so beautiful, it belongs in a museum! It has a wonderful luster and a very precise raised(embossed) design. The platinum edging is also very precise with no gaps or rough boundaries. Each piece has the attractive Lenox stamp on the bottom with a checkmark indicating that each piece was individually inspected and passed(and also stating it is made in the USA, so you can be assured the materials are safe). It comes attractively boxed and well padded to insure a safe delivery. This makes a fantastic gift to anyone who appreciates fine china. A perfect house-warming gift!

The pattern on this set is very subtle, but elegant white flower pattern. It is really hard to see in the pictures, but a little easier to discern in person (though still faint).I love that this set is dishwasher safe. My parents' fancy dinnerware is not dishwasher safe and I know what a pain it is to hand wash everything after a big dinner.I am very happy with this set and look forward to adding more Lenox china to my cupboard!

A delicate, beautiful setting. I feel like the white-on-white allows this line to be used during the day in addition to the evening, and during all seasons and times of the year. It can be dressed up or down. This will be a cherished line of dishes for your family. The great thing about Lenox is it is made in the US. What's not to love?

We already own a 8 person service of the Lenox federal platinum and I thought that was nice but this Floral Veil is timeless elegance. The white beads are the finite detail that really sticks out for me. Plus the coffee cup is just simple elegance, no overly fancy curve or shape. 100 beans for a single service, wow that's a pretty penny. A single stripe of platinum on each edge is just classy but not overdone.Simple enough design that you can and should use this plate service everyday. Life is short so enjoy it.
