The nike free rn 2018 women's running shoe has been updated to offer a more adaptable fit than ever before. The new stretch material in the upper follows the movements of the foot, while the tri-star motif on the sole adapts to your every step, for a gait that guarantees support and flexibility where you need it most. The circular knit upper is made with spandex for natural movements. The dynamic heel fit system provides support from the heel to the ankle.

Great on the ankle but otherwise strange fit and feel
I had the Free RN 2017 running shoes and loved them. These are totally different. The back of the ankle is great - wide and low, doesn’t rub at all and no blisters or discomfort. But that’s about where the greatness ends with these runners. Some decent things are that the sole has good traction and doesn’t squeak. The insole, while nearly not as thick, soft or bouncy as some other Nikes (like the Renew), provides lightweight, even support. It may not be soft, but it’s not too hard either. However, perhaps because of the upper and overall design, the back bottoms of my heels were sore for a few hours after just one cardio trial run in these. The upper is strange - flexible and breathable, but also kind of constricting. With the upper material and odd back ankle strap, these feel and look oddly almost like “athletic sandals.” A solid sole connected to a very sock-like upper. Great if you like a lot of upper flexibility or have issues with Nike’s often narrow toe box (not a problem here - toe is broader than usual) but doesn’t mean that the shoes didn’t rub the edges of the foot. Also, these are a low top with ZERO ankle support and tongue is thin and fixed. The front of my ankles was also sore the rest of the day after the one trial run with these. I liked the light plum color and the flat wide design of back of the ankle but that’s about it. I jog 6 miles on the treadmill every day and these did not live up to what I needed. I bought a size 8.5, my usual size in Nike running shoes (which is 1/2-1 size larger than all my other shoes) and although my foot seemed to fit in them properly (which I could clearly see from heel to toe through the stretchy uppers) they still felt somehow too small. I think a 1/2 size larger would have been too big, however. Everyone’s preferences and feel for running shoes are different, but these were a dud and a misstep in redesign from the solid 2017 version in my short experience with them.

Don't buy
I usually don't write reviews but this manufacturing company deserves it. I purchased a size 12 and was sent a size 6. So then I returned it and waited for them to send me the correct size. I received the new pair, long and behold it was another size 6 and at the point I was over it. The shoes was in American size so there was no conversion.....never again

Awesome for running!
Have had these for a little while now, needless to say they have been feeling great! I run 3 to 4x a week and these hold up really well. I also am a teacher, so on casual Fridays these come in handy with jeans and a hoodie.

Great shoe!
I work 12 hour days on my feet with high arches and run on my days off. These are the only shoe I’ve found that can manage both activities without foot pain. I had the 2017 version last me a year before I got these and they still hold up.

I would buy them again
Very comfortable. A perfect fit.A little tough to get them on, but once they are on my feet they are very comfortable. Shoe lace likes to come untied, I just put a double knot

I need more colors now!
The colors are slightly different from what I expected in the photo—both colors seem lighter. But nonetheless, I love this line from Nike and think the colors are unique. I have wider feet and these fit great, they give a little and don’t crowd my toes.

Runs small
Normally wears a 7.5. Way too small. Have to pay over $5 to return.. Like the shoe, but runs really small Ordered and waiting on the 8.5.

Kompfortabler, schöner Laufschuh
Wow, liebe sie. Tolle angenehme Schuhe.
