Broyhill Kids, Bowen Heights 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, White

Purchased 2 and they arrived in huge boxes. As I started to remove the parts from the box, I noticed something strange. This product is stated as being "Broyhill Kids", but when I read the paperwork that came with it, I found out this is a STORK product. I purposefully avoided Stork due to manufacturing issues. I own some Broyhill furniture and it has held up for a very long time. I continued to open the boxes and hope for the best. Sure enough,one of them had a serious manufacturing defect. It looks like the router used to shape the back pieces malfunctioned. It is a painfully obvious defect--which shows Stork has ZERO quality control. Contacted the company per documentation for replacement pieces and they don't have any and suggested I return for a refund. Well, it's assembled. And the boxes were recycled. Amazon offered to return it or 10% refund--neither seemed acceptable. In the end, Amazon agreed to ship me a new unit where i'll take out the pieces and return the rest. What a waste of resources. Stork is horrible, but Amazon rocks.If you get decent quality pieces or have a month to screw around with getting spare parts (assuming they have them in stock), this is worth the money.UPDATE: Received a new unit to obtain the replacement parts and sure enough the replacement parts were also defective. Round 3 is on its way.UPDATE: Round 3 was a fail as well. This manufacturer should stop woodworking. They clearly can't cut it.

This is the second one of these cribs I have purchased. My first daughter is still using the first one, I'm now expecting my second, so we got another to match. The first one has held up very well! We moved across the country and it is still very sturdy even after riding in a moving truck for over a thousand miles. It is easy to adjust the height of the mattress support and is a very strong crib! It has even supported the weight of my husband climbing in there during some seemingly impossible nights with an infant. We haven't used it as a toddler bed yet, but will soon. I love that it came with the toddler rail to convert it without having to purchase the rail separately. Love this crib!

The crib arrived in great condition. The wood feels solid and it definitely looks like a quality item.However, I am a bit disappointed. According to some of the reviews I read here, the package was supposed to include the rails to convert it into a full size bed in a few years. Unfortunately, there were none included and even the manual says they must be purchased separately.The expectation that the rails would be included was one of the factors toward us deciding on this crib. Therefore, I can't help but feel misled.Like I said, a great crib. but the rails must be purchased separately.

I put off buying a crib for the longest time because I thought what I wanted didn't exist in my price range. Until I happened upon this one on another site selling for much more than it is here. This crib is so pretty in person. Its even better than the pictures. It was simple to put together (I did it myself) and looks like it's worth so much more than I paid. The mattress support is the grate style and the adjustable heights are going to be so handy when my baby grows. I also love that it comes with the toddler rail and all of the hardware needed for that conversion. I wish I could give 10 stars!

I ran into the assembly issues others have noted, where a couple holes seem to have been drilled about 1/4-1/2 inch off of their correct position.Some have said they needed to increase the hole size, but I got away with loosening all the bolts on that side and managing to get the offending piece in and tight, then retightening the other bolts as I could. Additionally, putting the mattress base on is really difficult alone, so I suggest getting someone to hold it up for you while you attach it.It does look really good, but these difficulties drop it a star for me. The misdrilled holes, while I managed to get them to work, show some bad craftsmanship.

I feel like a made a really good decision buying this crib. I received it yesterday, put it together and love it. The box looked a little rugged, but all its pieces were in tact. One small thing; when you put the first pieces together, make sure the threaded holes are on the inside of the crib to screw in the mattress bay.

This crib is gorgeous and very well made. I fell in love with the headboard shape and can't wait to see it transformed into a bed in a few more years! Then again, I think I'd rather just have a new baby to go in there after my 10 month old grows out of it! Haha. It really is a lovely crib and fits our nursery perfectly.

Easy to assemble, took my husband maybe an hour. However, some of the screws were too short or the holes were drilled in the wrong spot. I had read from other reviewers that getting parts from the company was a pain, so we just went to the hardware store and got longer bolts. Fortunately it wasn't in a visible spot because they obviously didn't match the rest. So not the highest quality product, but looks very nice now that it is assembled, and we get lots of compliments on it. Overall we're ok with this purchase, especially given the low price.
