Poorly designed, Cheaply made, deceiving looks
I've now owned this thing for 2 months, I cannot emphasize just how horrible a product this is.DO NOT BUY IT UNLESS YOU LOVE TO BE FRUSTRATED WITH SHODDILY DESIGNED TECHNOLOGY.It barely works. When it does work it's still temperamental. Even if it worked as it should, the amount of boost is minimal. What I had hoped:1) it would give me the necessary boost when I needed it and it would tide me over until I could plug into a wall AC outlet.2) since it is small compact it would fit in my pouch that I carry my phone/wallet/asthma inhaler etc(at least it does that)3) that it would double as a reasonable charger cableThe internal battery of the JUMP box drains itself in less than a day. When Plugged in, it's supposed to charge the phone first, and then itself. it appears to do that but it takes at least one and a half times longer than charging with a "normal" lightning cable And then it rarely fully charges itself. It's supposed to let you know that IT is charged by the 3 flashing lights. purportedly al 3 lights means it's fully charge, however within moments it drops down to 1 light. So, in other words when you need it, it doesn't have it's own charge. I used to keep a regular NATIVE UNION cable in my pouch for charging situations and guess what? The first one broke in about 9 months, Apple was nice enough to replace it for me, but then instructed me that if it ever happened again they would NOT replace it and I'd have to go through NATIVE UNION to get another replacement. That one broke at the 13 month mark so warrantee was now void.So now I have this cute little square with a cable wrapped around it. Phone battery goes down to 20% No outlet around. Knowing the JUMP box has drained itself by merely sitting idly in my pouch,I pull out and use an extra battery pack I also keep in my pouch. Plug the phone in, and the other end into the battery.Guess what? There's a conflict errorI'm guessing the little box doesn't want DC current and is biased towards AC.Sometimes if I wait and press the button over and over it'll eventually charge up at least to the 70%(The batter pack with a normal cable usually charges the phone up to 100% with enough leftover for a 1/2 charge larter before it itself need to be recharged). It takes well over twice as long as it would with a regular cable that didn't have the "JUMP" box in between. It'll often shut down throughout the process so you have to JUMP start it by pressing the little button.Between Apple's new iOS burning through m iPhone 6 battery it's been a hell of a time.Phone crashes sometimes when there's 40% battery left. Once I get it to reboot after minimal charge it says 44that's an Apple problem. But add to it, the phone crashes in cold weather, I need t boot it up and I can't because the little bugger of the "JUMP" box has been drained in less than the 24 hours it's been charged up at, I try my external battery and conflict error. This made for a fun evening when trying to capture my friends dog, and it was freezing and i had 75% battery when I left the house, but there's no AC outlet in the dog park.Yup. trapped with no phone and frozen fingers/NATIVE UNION--your products LOOK great, but the workmanship is shoddy. The design on your JUMP is majorly flawed. My first 2 regular cables were bough at the Apple store and I assumed (making an @ss of you and me) that since Apple carried your product it was a soft endorsement.Apples still carries your products and it's a shame.I truly hope some small upstart comes along that Apple approves of, but one that makes quality products with well though out designs.Heck, I'd settle for a quality cable that lasts longer than the crappy white plastic ones Apple makes that fray and shred and lasts as long as you'd expect a braided cloth/polymer ones. Anyone who's ever bought a knockoff cable that Apple doesn't at least softly endorses will not work when you do the next upgrade you get an error message and it won't workApple does not like you using cheap alternatives so they endorse NATIVE UNION to make things that appear quality but are not.You all should really be ashamed of what you produce.I'd settle for an ugly cable that worked over this sturdy looking cable that breaks easily and has faulty designs to recharge your phone on the flyI guess you pay Apple handsomely for the rights, but your products suck. I do not believe this relationship will last. I hope you didn't get too bilked by having to pay off Apple

best place to start is for a strong battery
So I tried this out for about a week or so and I have mixed feelings about it. This needs improvement for sure, best place to start is for a stronger battery. I didn't read the small print where it says for 5/5s 30% to 33%, 15% to 18% on iPhone 6, really I got just that from 7% to only 21% and this die. I plan on upgrading to the 7 plus so I know this will not be worth the money. The other problem is its easily marketed up and to get the leather case is another $20 on top of the $50, crazy right. How about just selling it with the leather case at a better price because it's better things out there like the Travel Card for only $30 that gives you more power. I have the Qi Stone myself with wireless charging on it so check that out as well. But can't wait to see if this gets improves, I really hope it does because I think it's cute.

Great Invention and a must-buy!
Fantastic idea and nice build quality! This product is such a great idea that I wish I would have thought of it. I use mine in my car so it always keeps a charge. So many times my iPhone battery will be below 20% and only have a short drive with no way to charge it so end up leaving in my car to charge. No more! Now I can bring this charger in with me to the restaurant or store and keep it charging!Only downfall is you need to keep it plugged in or it does lose a charge pretty quick. Otherwise, this thing is awesome!

The product:This was a gift for someone and they liked it. It is compact so it can easily fit in a pocket which is better than other battery boosters and you always have a cable to charge that is neatly wrapped up.Customer Service Amazon and Native Union:This was sold by Amazon so if you have a problem with Native Union you need to talk with Amazon. Native Union customer service was useless for price issues ... as was Amazon. After I placed the order the price went down $10.00. Amazon said they wouldn't price match and Native Union said it was out of their hands. Because it was sold by Amazon they couldn't do anything.I am not pleased with either Customer Service Dept. !

arrived non-operational
Returned due to the fact that the battery function did not work. It worked fine as a charging cable and had a very pleasing form factor. The battery would charge (as indicated by the three lights), but pressing the button did nothing and no charge was delivered to the lightning connector when in "battery mode".In terms of how I would asses it if it indeed did work:- very attractive. looks rugged (in spite of the above problem).- I would prefer that it had a case or some sort of way to attach it to a keychain or backpack loop. (I have too many loose thing in my pockets already).- rather expensive compared to other portable backup batteries.I do not think I will repurchase this. I might reconsider if there were a newer version that addresses the issues above (especially in light of the fact that it arrived non-operational).

Crap crap crap
Just got this yesterday March 8th 2018 and my first day using it I’ve realized I made the worse purchase to start the year. Maybe for the whole year too cause this product is absolutely shit, can’t hold a charge to save your life.So I got this last night leave it to fully charge, so after using my phone all day I’m at 12% so now I’m happy I got this to use and test out. My results got to 15% charge on phone (so only got 3% extra to my phone from it) but now it’s completely dead. So my finally thought it’s completely crap, waste of time and money. Don’t even waste your time reading another comment I will save you

Good Price for CLONED JUNK
I think that these are CLONED Native Union Products. I own other Native Union Products and these are JUNK! You get what you pay for. I saw the pair of Native Union Battery and Cable for a price that was 25% of the other similiar product....I received 2. ONE DOESN’T CHARGE and the OTHER WILL CHARGE BUT ONLY LAST FOR MINUTES.It is also a product that Amazon DOES NOT Allow returns, as it appears they are CLONED in some far off factory in CHINA.

bien mais ne recharge que 20 à 30% de la batterie (iphone)
tout est dans le titre.. sinon compact, design... rien a redire à part la capacité. Du coup ca depanne mais pas plus.
