Samsung Carrying Case (Book Fold) for 7 Tablet - White - Synthetic Leather

Let me start off this review by saying that this product IS REAL & LEGIT. It looks like the seller just removed the cardboard outer packaging (like you see it have on the rack at Target & Best Buy) but still left in the plastic sleeve. The Samsung logo & the Galaxy Tab3 logo are on it. All original. Now after having said that...... I need to add that I am pretty much an IDIOT for paying $29 for this "pretty much useless" case! The only bigger IDIOTS than myself, are those who go to Target & Best Buy and pay $49 for this!!!! It doesn't do anything special, its barely thick enough to prevent scratches, and won't do one damn bit of good if you accidently drop your device. The slim/thin protective cases Amazon sells for $13 are WAY much better than this! I have one on my Nexus7 and it is so much nicer, better made, and still not too thick or bulky. If you aren't "name brand" conscious, SAVE SOME MONEY!!! But, if you want it to actually say "Samsung" then get this, and save some money and effort from going to the store. It actually WAS a big deal for me for it to be "name brand", until I got it in and actually saw it. I am happy with my purchase. It keeps it from coming on, and getting scratched in my back pocket; and it says Samsung. But, if and when this one plays out, I WILL be getting the $13 slim case from Amazon that is not name brand.... and will be getting a better case. Delivery was about a week to get to me as this was not on "Prime." I truly hope this helps you to make a good, informed, and educated decision about your purchase, and a big "THANK YOU" to all of you Amazon customers who take the time to review your purchases for the rest of us.

This is the correct case for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0" (for reference, mine is a Sprint T217S) and it fits securely, but the design is not that impressive. There is no magnetic closure, only gravity/your hand keeps it in place, and the Tab 3 is not capable of intelligently locking/unlocking based on the cover being opened or closed. Not the greatest design for movie viewing/reading, case relies on small rubber feet to keep the device from sliding while you *carefully* position the partly folded cover to create a kickstand - not stable on smooth surfaces, fell 5-6 times on my last flight. Overall, I love how it protects my device, but I wish I had looked further to find one that stands more consistently.

Fits perfectly (its made by Samsung, duh!). I love to carry my tab 3 7.0 in it when I don't feel like carrying my iPad Air around for reading. The cover flips around back and has a nice fuzzy feeling for cleaning the screen that makes it comfy to hold. When closed, I would feel comfortable dropping my tab from a normal height. The other thing I love about it is that you can snap it off easily without worrying about the corner "wings" from stretching. They are sturdy so when I am reading in bed I just snap it off and hold it normally. Love it. Could be cheaper, but Amazon has a good price on it. Just don't buy it at Best Buy ($50)!

Attractive and not cumbersome. The flip cover is great for protecting the screen from accidental scratches when in transit or otherwise not in use. The only reason I do not give it a "10" is it is not a "bullet proof" case such at those from Otter and others. Suppose it's a lifestyle choice, mega protection vs. style and convenience.

The 7" table is not very expensive already and if I need to get any expensive case to protect it, it doesn't make too much sense.Well, I bought it because it's very thin and low profile. It added some degree of protection to the tablet. But, it is very hard to make it stand up in a stable position. If it wasn't made from Samsung I will not get it.

I had believed that the case would magnetically keep closed. It acts as a slight riser when folded in back of the tablet. It looks nice

Bought this for my sons Galaxy Tab 3. Pretty solid for the price. Does the job of protecting the screen when closed.

Keeps you Galaxy Tab 3 protected and works as a wonderful stand! You can't ever go wrong with the OEM accessories. Trust me you won't find this cover brand new anywhere else! Amazing is great. I loved this cover but wasn't paying $40 like every other retailer wanted!
