Years later, still love it!
It has been almost 2 years since I purchased this bed cover for my husband. It was very easy to install onto the bed of the truck and still to this day it still looks brand new. It is simple to remove and open to have access to the bed of the truck. It keeps water, debris and dust out of the bed of the truck. The quality of this cover is well worth the value of the money.

Fits nicely and hjolding up great!
Ordered this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a Tonneau cover, but we were not interested in a hard top or breaking the bank for one. The order came rather quickly. The installation was rather painless, with easy instructions. The fit was snug, but definitely not too tight! This cover folds up nicely, stores well when not rolled out, and survived a large snow storm so far. We had a recent spring snow storm that dumped over 26" of snow over a weekend. The cover held up nicely, no stretching or breaks in braces. We were concerned as this snow was super heavy and wet, but it fared really well! My dad has same cover, and his did not get cleaned off at any point during the storm. His held up just as well! No issues, and highly recommend.

Decent hard cover, but not perfect
With a locking tailgate, this model provides decent security to keep people from quickly grabbing something you left in your truck bed. I suppose if someone really wanted to get into it, they could, but it would be noisy and dramatic to do so. I think for the money its a decent tonneau cover. There are a couple of areas of concern I have. I bought the model for the short bed tundra with optional cargo rails. Luckily it came with hardware to mount either with or without the cargo rails. With the cargo rails, it seems the rails you mount for this topper are much more secure, but they interfere with the cargo rail adjustable tie downs points. I had the original tundra style tie downs and a couple of aftermarket Tacoma style adjustable tie down points. the Tacoma ones didn't work at all because they had a slightly larger adjustment knob that interferes with the rail for the tonneau. the Tundra ones, if you put them where you want them and tighten them down, and then mount the rails, they probably would be okay, but would be difficult/impossible to adjust after. they also cause the rails to stick up a bit because of them resting on the adjustment wheels of the tie downs. So I choose to temporarily remove the left and right cargo rails (front one was okay, but does come close to interfering with front clamp of the tonneau). And I order the cargo rail drop kit that is designed by one of the competing tonneau covers. Not a great solution since the cargo rails will now have leverage on the drop down pieces and won't be as strong, plus the extra expense of the drop down kit. But taking the cargo rails off allows me to use the clamp hardware that mounts to beds without the rail system. that mounting is not as sturdy for the rails. Which probably doesn't matter day to day, but if you ever move something heavy and clumsy like throwing short logs in the back or maybe even a bucket of dirt from the skidsteer at the gravel yard, I don't think those rails will hold well if they get hit with any downward force. I don't know which well bend first, the rails, or the clamps, or the bed where the clamps are gripping, but none of them would be good. This model is called a tri fold, but like many others, its 3 panel, 2 fold. Which means the front third of your bed is always covered. Its a plus in a way, since it doesn't block your rear window when folded completely up, but means that you would need to remove it if you think you will really need to use the whole bed for something. Removing isn't too bad, there are 4 hand cranked knobs on the bottom to loosen to be able to remove it. Of course you hopefully thought in advance and removed it at home and had a place to put it. Taking off or putting back on can be done by one person holding it in the middle, as its more bulky than crazy heavy. the only thing to consider is your transition in/out of the bed. I pick it up (folded) and set it on the rails near the rear long enough for you to climb into or out of the back. if installing, you will have to lightly tighten the 4 hand clamps underneath and then check alignment before tightening it down again. Waterproof-ness. There are drain ducts for the tonneau rails at the front and short hoses to let you route it out of the bed, but on some trucks it means cutting a hole in the rubber plug of the truck bed. The front corners had obvious daylight in each corner by default. I stuffed a little foam weatherstripping similar to the piece you used on the front wall to try to close them. there is also a bit of daylight showing at the rear corners. Effective alignment helps, but I don't know how you can effectively seal that since that portion opens and closes as much. Not as obvious but the joints where it bends tend to leak a little too. When the weather is warmer (or maybe hit it with a hair dryer) I think will cause the rubber edge to relax more and seal better since its shipped to you folded up the rubber sort of wants to stay that way. I think its probably something in the category of expected that it will leak a little, as its not a downright flood back there (although I haven't done a pressurized car wash yet), but still I put the stuff that is normally rolling around in the back of my pickup in a plastic storage box, probably more for the effort of keeping it from rolling around by itself as much as keeping it dry. I suppose you could try to seal it better with some weatherproofing product, but I assume that whatever you did would be effectively negated if you have to take the cover off and put it back on at some point. There was a used one I bought initially from Amazon, and the front edge was bent and the passenger side rail where the drip tube is was knocked off and slightly damaged, so I returned it. But i noticed that on the new one the passenger side rail was slightly banged up too, So that is an area to pay special attention to when unboxing your new cover. I think it they had done a little better job of packaging there would be less risk of damage, as I can see from looking at the packaging of the two of them, its probably a common problem as the package handlers don't pay attention to the warnings on the box.

Get it!
Can speak to the weatherproof of this one since it hasn’t rained since install but just from looking at it I don’t see much, if any, water getting in. Good solid product, looked a little intimidating to install while taking care of my 2 year old but he sat in the truck bed and let me tackle it in about 30 minutes. Not as low profile as my old retractable bed cover, but that thing was 5x the price and had too many parts that failed. This is simpler and definitely not as high as a tri fold bed cover like I’ve also had in the past. Fit my tundra perfectly. Glad I went with this over trying to find a used one on marketplace.

Exactly what I wanted for my 17 Tundra
Fits perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. Very easy to install only takes about 20 minutes. Instructions will tell you how to install without the Toyota factory cargo management rails- Do Not install with out the cargo management system- it will work but not properly. You can order the Toyota OEM rails for $150 online. 10/10 would recommend my neighbor actually just got the same cover after seeing mine installed.

Great Cover for the Price!
Difficult to purchase a tonneau cover off the internet with only a picture. I bought off of pics and reviews. The videos on Youtube really helped with the installation process. Straight forward and have a buddy to help if you can. The product is good quality. Know that some adjusting is necessary for a proper fit. Another good reason to have a buddy with you. Looks good and I believe the rubber strips and hard foam will keep most of the weather out of the bed. Low profile appearance and easy to roll and unroll. Only downside is limited use of the tiedowns if you use the rail system to clamp. You can only slide the cleats so far before they run into a side rail clamp. Not a problem for me but if you need to tie down frequently it could bother some.

I have read a few reviews about this tonneau cover on Amazon about fitment issues once installed. And they were true for my truck with the bed rail tie downs. I had to add some rubber shims at the end of the rails were it latches in order to level out the rails so it would close within the channels. So far this has worked perfectly. I guess with this design of box and rail system the clamps want to suck the beam downward so it's not level. Pretty easy fix. Easy install.

So far so good, easy to install and looks good. Sleek with a low profile. Cannot comment on durability as we have only had it on for a month.
