Great paddle
There’s a huge difference between this paddle and the old one I had. It’s so much lighter and easier to paddle! Love it.

Really nice paddles. Very durable and still look new
Update:I've been using these for 4 years now and they still look brand new.Original Review:I'm a casual Kayaker and these paddles are working out great. Paddles are adjustable for angle, feel comfortable and I haven't had any issues with durability even when using it to push off beaches and rocks. Love the visibility it provides too.

Beautiful, light paddle but hard to adjust!
Overall, I am very please with this paddle. It is lightweight and efficient, the blade is nicely shaped and has virtually no "flutter," the shaft is comfortable and easy to grip, and the bright green gives me some additional visibility on the water. I can't give it 5 stars because the dang "snap button" ferrule is very difficult to use. The snaps are small and so difficult to engage that I need assistance adjusting or simply taking the paddles apart. I've paddled for thirty years and have never needed assistance with a paddle! It may loosen up over time but it took a lot of the fun out of using this paddle, which had been a birthday gift to myself. I almost got a Carlisle, in part because their no-fail ferrule looked like an improvement and I now wonder if the price difference would have been worth it. But once you are set up, this is a lovely paddle to use.

Recently purchased a tandem seakayak, and decided to purchase two of these paddles for it. Went out into the inlet here in Anchorage for the first time just a couple days ago to test everything out and after six hours of use I'd the paddles work great thus far. Used the paddles to push off the bottom a few times and they held up fine, and there's no noticeable wiggle where the two halves connect. We are both beginners who have never used another paddle so I can't compare to anything but I'm satisfied at this point. I would suggest getting a pair of gloves though as the yellow grips gave me lots of blisters, could just be my lack of past paddling, but if you haven't paddled much you'd be in the same situation.

Great blade design & very lightweight.
The design of this paddle is the best I’ve ever used. I get more distance per stroke. They’re easy to store since each half snap fits together. Very lightweight so they’re easy to transport.

Paddle On!
I'm new to Kayaking but I know comfort and these paddle grips are nice. I like the yellow so boaters can see me! Great quality and works very well; well I need some stroke help but the paddles are not to blame!

Love this paddle, update
The blade of this paddle works well, and the tight fit at the joint is great. I thought it was a wee bit speedy for such a recreational paddler as myself, but no regrets as the light weight and textured shaft was a hit my first day out.****This is an update after using this paddle for several months. I still LOVE this paddle! The light weight allows me to paddle for a couple hours with no noticeable fatigue, and I have nerve damage in one hand so that is saying a lot. Also, the texture an d slight oval shape of the shaft really allows a comfortable secure grip with a light hold. When wet the grip is always secure. No regrets, only pure pleasure!

Rubber grips causes blisters.
First and foremost, rubber grips causes blisters. Good paddle for the price of $51, but $60-$70, no way.
