Miibox 100% Raw Unrefined Organic Shea Butter-African Grade A Ivory 1 Pound (16oz)

The shea is fine but it’s 1.2 Oz shy of a pound. May not seem like much but if I pairs for 16 Oz ... that’s what I’m expecting. Not sure if i will be purchasing from this seller again.

This came to me the exact day estimated. The box was fine, in perfect shape, and the two zip-lock bags containing the shea butter were fine. Upon opening the bag with the shea butter, I noticed how well the product smoothed at the temperature of my hands, even with it only being like, 68 degrees F outside (where I decided to open it; didn't want a mess just in case). As soon as I applied the amount it takes to cover my fingertips to all of my face, I noticed how it bonded and soaked into my skin as if having been massaged in when it had not been. That was 9 hours ago and no wearing off has taken place.I found a glass jar I have that holds 18 ounces, and after weighing my shea butter, confirming it is a full 16 ounce amount, I started melting and chipping away at the product to get it all perfectly packed into my glass. With the ziplock bag, I cut it in half and laid it out flat and ran an old card all the way down it to get every bit of the melted/stuck butter off, so none went to waste. A side note- this shea butter smells like raw vanilla bean. Just thought that should be noted since many people say they don't like the scent an it seems like a chemical.. however, that pungent odor is just like soft vanilla beans. I would recommend storing your own butter into a glass jar if you have one, since the outside of the bags it comes in will always have some greasy feel to them. Just run the edge of a card along the sealing part of the bag to get eeeevery small bit off.Since I'm using this for all of its benefits, (general external hydration, curly hair health, skin, circulation, evening out skin tone and getting rid of scars, lips, nails, wind and sun protection, bug bites, skin irritations, hair growth and collagen help) I will not be doing anything special to it. I might..? end up loading photos of how my mild skin issues progress since I already took a photo today of what my skin looks like without anything on it.Cons: Not pretty presentation and you need to dissect the bag to get as much product out as possible (with an old card)Smells more like vanilla beans, very pungent odor, but not bad, per se.Pros: Smells like vanilla beansImmediate creamy texture that melts to a butter upon handlingStays on strong for 9+ hoursArrived on time for me!Has around 14 individual uses. I really don't like writing negative reviews, so I feel really bad writing this one.I planned to make a DIY body lotion. I bought this Raw Sea Butter, Organic Vanilla Flavoring and organic jojoba oil.Sadly, he shea butter I received was rancid! It had a very strong odor, which wasn't pleasant at all. I'd describe it as sharp vinegary smell.I've tried to reduce the smell by mixing it with a cup or coconut oil, eucalyptus oil and the rest of ingredients I bought on amazon.Unfortunately, the vinegar smell was still present.I had to throw everything away.I'm giving it 2 stars, because my friend bought this shea few weeks ago, and the her product smelled warm and nutty. I don't know why my shea was that bad.I'm only sad, because I've waisted a lot of expensive ingredients, just to try to kill the ugly rotten smell of this shea butter.

I'm straight from Ghana and trust me THIS is the real deal! It's obviously not going to smell like roses, but it sure gets the job done! Pure and unrefined ;)

After reading many of the previous reviews, I was a little hesitant to buy this product. I'm glad I made my purchase as the product is great. Simple packaging, yes, but I can't see why that would matter when it's the quality of the butter that matters. I just opened up the bag and the smell was totally natural (not perfumed or funky). I put a little bit of the butter on the back of my overly dry hands..and just as shea butter should, it absorbed quickly into my skin. Not greasy. Not oily. There is a slight 'nutty' scent to it...which might be what some object to...however it smells like love flowing directly from Mother Earth to me.

I hate leaving bad reviews. However, I'm a new small business and believe me I'm learning through trail and error. This shea butter is horrible. It smells horrible! It appears as if it has been mixed with olive oil. This shea butter is old and rancid. I have a return in process. People are buying your products in hopes that it is prepared with good quality and integrity. This lacks integrity and good quality. Greatly disappointed. Money cannot be your only motivation. Please do better.

Never bought Shea butter before but someone asked me for chapstick and soap with it in so I thought I would try it bought this one,shipping was fast but it's not white or yellow looks on a greener side so not even sure I can use it cause I don't really know anything about Shea butter,sorry for the one star but until I find out what I can do I will update.

Shea Butter is literally life. If you're wondering what color it came as the color I received was ivory. This magic concoction works on everything. Got a pimple, boil, blemish, in grown hair, and other forms of acne? Rub some Shea Butter on it. Now, personally I've used the ivory colored Shea Butter and the yellow colored Shea Butter and both are great! I've heard the the color of the Shea Butter depends on the nut itself and if the nut is roasted for a certain amount of time. But what I've found out is that, to me, the ivory colored Shea Butter works better when clearing pimples (it leaves no acne scars). Use it everyday and you'll start to see the pimple or blemish go down. I use the yellow Shea Butter on by body and the ivory colored Shea Butter on my face. However the yellow (and other colors including this ivory Shea Butter) works fine as lotion, hair moisturizers (for types 3 and 4 hair I don't recommend using it as a moisturizer if you have 1 or type 2 hair), and or chap stick. It'll leave your hair and skin soft and it works to clear up acne. But all in all Shea Butter is good for up keeping appearance especially if the Shea Butter is in its raw state..

I love this stuff

My daughter had some bad eczema, rashes, so we tried this product on her skin. It seemed like it helped, but the smell of raw shea butter turns her off. I suppose I could mix this with other oils and scents to make it better, but I don't really care to.It's cheap though and I still have plenty left!
