QiVeda Colima Salt | Premium Fine Grade Unrefined Mexican Sea Salt - 6oz (170g)

I have used this salt to make my own mozzarella cheese and popcorn. Completely different from the cheap stuff we get at the stores. I bought this after watching a video where the person said he thinks our store salts are processed and that the cheese his facility makes doesn’t taste the same. Quality matters!

If is not gray, closer to white, and there seems to be a very slight amount of moisture -- not at all a problem. The taste is stronger, tastier, perhaps due to higher mineral content, than Himilayan salt. I liked that the Aztecs consumed this salt. It is finely ground, like table salt. I keep it in a bamboo swivel-top container, not a salt shaker, as I like to take pinches of my salt.

"Unrefined" salt is a healthier way to go and Colima is an excellent option. I use others that have different flavors, like smokiness... this one is great for a plain salt flavor. This and others that are unrefined have less of a negative effect on raising blood pressure.

Has good flavor but I prefer a light crunch with more coarse texture. Price was competitive.

This salt is very moist. I put it in a metal shaker and it actually rusted!

I have been a chef, catering and restaurant manager and this is by far the best salt I have ever used. Great for cooking, seasoning, coating, and just about any place salt is needed.
