I had a different cabled solar fountain but someone took to it with a hedge trimmer in error, so I thought this would be a nice little alternative. Especially as I didn't have to balance it on bricks in the pond as this one floats :)I'd say if you're positioning this in full sun then you're going to have your expectations met it's a good fountain, with various attachments to suit your needs.If like my wildlife pond you have it positioned where it only gets full sun for a part of the day then it really is a little bit disappointing. Pick one with a repositionable solar panel otherwise and keep power tools out the way.

Works fine but the higher powered version works better and longer each day.

Only works when in direct sunlight. Fine for my small ornamental pond but wouldn't work to oxygenated a larger pond. It also tends to float to the side and fire water directly out of the pond if at all breezy so the water level goes down pretty quickly. Could do with an anchor.

The media could not be loaded.  Fabulous. Easy to set up and works brilliant. See video. Put a deeper bowl on top of the bird bath so I could put more water for the fountain as it's not that deep. Love it.***update*** just bought another one and it doesn't work at all 😒 sending back. The first one is still OK. Strange!

I loved this notice I say loved. I had it for 1 day and my puppy decided it was a toy. She managed to get it out of my bird bath and made it unusable. So for the one really sunny day we had with it I think it was really good. Not noisy no work to build it. Idiot proof but not for puppies ☺
