Artiva USA Saturn II 71" LED Torchiere with Reading Light

mixed
A mixed bag. The light looks quite nice and gives the appearance of sturdy. In the real world, the threading between sections is grim...crunchy and easy to misread. The switch in the base is ridiculous: cheap and held on with a drop of epoxy as opposed to any type of mechanical connection. Mine broke off and I just removed it via some simple re-wiring but for $150? Light just reeks "cheap". I'd suggest another option.

Hot tip for soft surfaces
My last torchiere lamp died and I was looking for a good replacement. This lamp is good looking and I love the adjustable nature of the upper light. And most importantly -- it stands straight. I found it easy enough to put together by myself, although it is heavy.I had issues with the first lamp sent and the manufacturer was very helpful. Here's my hot tip from speaking with them that doesn't appear on the instructions: If you want to use this lamp on a soft surface, like carpeting, you will need to put a piece of cardboard underneath, otherwise the unit-tip feature is triggered and the buttons will not illuminate. When you do that -- perfect! My only wish is that the reading light was warmer in tone.

Decent appearance, lights flicker
Easy to put together and good looking lamp but I find the lights flicker between dim and bright once in a while unpredictably, which is annoying when reading.
