Simple instructions for install. Now easier to use my inverter generator without having to use an open ground plug.

Well built, highly recommended, does its job well. A must for RV'ers.Tech support I've heard is great, and they share a lot of info on YouTube and their site. The design is well made, and modular so you can replace components if you ever have a failure. It can be a little hard getting everything to fit in the little box, but thats just part of wiring, not an issue with the design or product.I would HIGHLY recommend you know with 100% where you are putting this and make sure you don't need the remote display model. I wish I would have got that, but thankfully, I can still barely see the display on mine. I do wish they sold a kit to add it, but I don't believe they do.I really like getting the readout of current status so to speak - voltage and amp draw on both legs. Makes it easy to figure out how much power you are using should you be trying to figure out how big of a Generator you need.

Recently bought this to add to my surge protection. When it came,I installed it and immediately noticed something was funny when powered up. With the switch in monitor, the the surge protector would turn on right away, contrary to what is supposed to happen. After rechecking all my installation, realize someone at the factory installed the switch upside down. Took it apart, reversed the switch in it's slot, everything works great. Would appreciate if they would take a little bit more time to make sure things are installed correctly at the factory.

This ought to be a standard part of the EMS installation. Without it, if the EMS shuts off power, you can't bypass it without disassembling the wiring and reconnecting it around the EMS. This switch eliminates that problem and allows you to bypass the EMS when operating on a generator (that can produce a "no ground" alert). There are some "fault interruptions" that you don't want to bypass, but there are some that aren't unsafe and some that are OK for short term use. Being able to simply turn the EMS off is much easier and faster than having to disassemble the system to bypass the EMS.

Product works great. Allows you to plug into a generator without getting the "no ground" fault. Instructions leave a lot to the imagination. Photos would help

Easy to by pass main unit when you really need power & you know it's safe to do so.

Very over priced for what it is. Just a simple switch with two blade connectors at the end of the wires.The switch was installed backwards so it was in bypass mode when switched to monitor. The instructions even told you to reverse the switch if installed backwards, but you have to be very careful not to break or mar the box and switch trying to do that. How hard would it have been to assemble it the right way instead of relying on a 50/50 chance of being assembled correctly.On the plus side it does work well. It is a little tight working in your EMS box due to the stiff wires in the way. The instructions were straight forward and simple to follow.A white wire covering with a black box is a questionable choice also.This bypass switch allowed me to easily power all my 120V outlets in my RV through my shore power plug without getting the open ground error code in my EMS. Make sure you unplug your converter when doing this so the batteries are not trying to charge themselves.

Easy to install and works great. Bypasses the reason we buy a surge in the first place 😐
