Works well, better protection than merely a wax paper wrap, and since it is a Nikon product, will fit the maker's lenses described. It may also work for other manufacturers' lenses, but dimensions should be tested before that use is anticipated or desired.

Perfect case to store my lens and not take up much space in my bag. Semi hard like Lowepro type lens cases are great for protection, but are too bulky.

As with all products Nikon puts their name on, it's a good quality item for a 'soft' lens case, and fits my lens well.Do wish that Nikon offered hard lens cases as well for the ultimate protection.Still happy with it for what it is, price is reasonable, still using it to store my lens.

This Nikon soft lens case is more than adequate protection for the 55-200 mm zoom lens. It kept the lens safe all across Italy with me this past October and defied drops and random bangs in cars and museums, on trains and buses from Lake Como to Rome. It's design makes it easy to slip the lens and exchange it for the 18-55 mm lens that Is the one with whih I usually shoot. I was originally skeptical that it's pouch like design could keep my lenses safe, but experience proved that it could.

The thin material doesnt seem to provide much protection.No microfiber inside so any dirt found its way into the pouch will likely grind against your lens - similar for Canon and Nikon pouches.Used this lens pouch for my Canon 18-55 STM lens with EW-63C. Fit the lens perfect.Nikon ask for $13, while Canon ask for $27.But if you are really that concerned about price, the $18 Altura Protective Neoprene Pouch set of 4 is a much, much better deal and seems to provide better protection.

This Nikon lens case is perfect for protecting the lens that isn’t attached to my camera! The case was in like new condition! Perfect protection against scratches!

Listed as 8.27” long. Actual length is 5.5”. Too small to hold a 55-200mm DX Nikkor lens.

I bough this bc the other Nikon lens bag I had been using wasn’t mine, but I liked it so much and wanted the same one. This one said the measurements would be 8” and then some. This was definitely not the case. It’s 6” which is a whole 2” shorter than it claimed it would be. My lens is 6” so the bag wouldn’t close at the top. Returning it is a hassle I really didn’t want to have to deal with, so I just (slightly begrudgingly) put my smaller 18-55mm lens in it. Take note, I have a Canon. I am aware this is for Nikon, but the measurements shouldn’t change depending on the brand...because they’re measurements.Besides the false information, the bag is of quality!

Purtroppo gli obiettivi più vecchi non avevano il sacchetto di protezione per il trasporto, questo sacchetto originale Nikon svolge egregiamente il suo dovere! Ottimo e ottimo prezzo!

Estaba preocupada de que no quedara bien el lente, porque a primera vista parece del mismo tamaño que la funda de 50 mm, pero mi lente de 18 a 55 quedó muy bien. Es exactamente igual a las fundas qué vienen con los lentes.

Perfecta para su cometido. Es original Nikon y de gran calidad, sirve para los objetivos pequeños hasta un 55-200, que cabe de sobra.

Received the item today. Came within prescribed period. Good quality stuff. Exactly the same one I had which I lost at an airshow :(
