Just what I needed. Well constructed and easy to install.

This was relatively easy to install. The instructions were not great as they were missing a few key highlights, most specifically that the door rollers must be installed in place. Though the picture kind of showed this, the written portion did not. Other than that the rest made sense and the end result was very good. As for sturdiness, once the rail was installed, I hung from it and there was no give. I weigh in at just under 240lbs, so it will obviously hold a heavy door.We would definitely recommend this to any average DIY person and the end result is great.

Easy installation and so sturdy! My husband installed one in our old house and it was a few hundred dollars. This was so much cheaper and just as strong! The door on it is old and solid wood. Very heavy. It rolls so easily. I installed this myself and while I've watched my carpenter husband do stuff like this, I'd never done it myself, but I had no problems!I wanted a triple barn door, but didn't want the track to stick out so far, so I installed two doors on a bypass closet track ($15 at lowes) in the doorway, and the last door on this single barn door track mounted over a 1x6 pine board with 3.5 inch interior wood screws. The result is perfect! I can push all three doors to either side at the same time to have a very wide opening. I get lots of compliments!The only downside is the track itself came in two pieces and fit together in the center like a puzzle piece, but without a second person to hold it up, that part was tough but I still got it.

O...M...Gee! Love this...time consuming to do but installation was flawless. I'm thrilled to death! Did not use the kerfed door guide..bought another door guide from Amazon..kerfing is out of my skill set. Highly recommend..sturdy..nice looking and perfect for lower ceiling application.
