My heart sank when I looked to check the progress of my order when I saw that it was stuck in US Customs & dreaded dealing with the courier company. This item is a birthday gift for my dearest father who I adore as I do my dearest mother therefore it was very important to get it in time for his day.The item is much larger than it looks in the online picture. The appearance & detailing are stunning,it arrives with a decanter & glasses which, to be honest, aren't of the best quality however this is overridden by the good quality & appearance of a true novelty gift. Well worth the longer waiting time and the cost.

Loved the quality of the decanter and the two etched glasses. The holder is made of strong plastic which does the job, but it would have been a lot classier had this been made from wood.It was a Christmas gift for my son and he was thrilled with it. He likes the 'quirkiness' of it.I was a little anxious about it arriving unbroken after reading other reviews, but the packaging was exceptional and it arrived in perfect condition.

The set is amazing and I intended it as gift... The first one arrived with the boat broken and the decanter cracked. I have returned it and ordered a replacement- which also arrived broken.Unfortunately I don't think Amazon delivery treats it as fragile at all - would have been so good if there was a way to deliver it safely. Or improve packaging so that little boat inside decanter is immobilised (even with paper tissues).
