A double sided semi-rigid LED flex strip used for theatrical lighting of candles, torches, lanterns and other prop and scenery applications needing a candle flame spectrum light in a wick type LED strip structure. The ability of the Lighting Wick Strip to be cut down in length every 2 LEDs per side allows the wick to be scaled for various props such as theatrical hand candles, stage lanterns, candelabra fixtures while maintaining a light color and spectrum uniformity between the various props and scenic light source. The lighting wick strip is a double-sided short length 12 led flexible LED strip that can be cut every 2 LEDs to shorten the strip and reduce the light output. The ability to cut the strip length adds to the versatility of the light; applications such as oil lantern props may use the entire full-length strip while a theatrical hand candle may require only 2/3 or 1/3 of the strip. The Lighting Wick strip is a dual voltage special effects light that may be operated from 12 volts DC or from a 9V battery. The LWS-CF (Lighting Wick Strip, Candle Flame) is a continuous light source with a non-flickering output suitable for video and filmmaking applications needing a high 94 CRI nominal (Color Rendering Index) flame spectrum LED 1,775 Kelvin nominal light source. The Lighting Wick Strip may be dimmed by voltage in the range of 6 volts to 12 volts DC, PWM dimmers may also be used. This kit contains 2 pcs of LWS-CF (Lighting Wick Strip, Candle Flame), 2 pcs 9V battery clips, 2 pcs 8 AA cell battery holder. Parts are made in China. The final assembly and outside clear UL VW1 rated protective cover are made and assembled onto the strip in the USA. A full-length strip has 12 LEDs (6 per side), a strip cut to 2/3 length has 8 LEDs (4 per side), and a strip cut to 1/3 length has 4 LEDs (2 per side). Applications: Theatrical prop candle lantern and torches. Fire and flame theming effects Western lantern props Escape room props bottle lamps pendant lights
