These tweeters provide excellent highs and really pump out the sound in my old speakers. They were used as replacement tweeters after I got tired of propping the paper horn up with tape and toothpicks, so I was desperate! Was I ever surprised with the sound, though - wow, these turned my old Fisher xp65s speakers into powerhouses of clear and beautiful full vocals, crisp horns and really lively tinkling piano keys. The fact that it comes in a pair of quality speakers for such a convenient low price is commendable. The only thing to watch out for is that the wire hook ups stick out horizontally from the magnet on each side instead of on the back. For each cabinet I had to drill 2 holes catacorner the screws to allow both hook up points to fit snugly past the circumference of the original tweeter holes, not to mention sand one of the holes to fit it in. Of course, some of this speaks more to the cabinet than the speakers. But worth the work - records and CDs sound amazing now, and I'm glad I ended up with these. I'll never even need 300 watts in 35 watt speakers - but who cares! The price was worth it.

As a audiophile from way back, I bought a pair of Dahlquist M907's (3-way) about 28 years ago @ $500 each. They've always sounded great. I already replaced the woofers 3 years ago because the foam surround fell apart. Recently one of the tweeters blew. I did some research to find replacements and also went out speaker shopping and was disappointed to say the least. There's nothing but overpriced garbage out there. The only speakers that came close to the sound of the M907 were about 4 grand a pair.... nope, can't afford that so back to finding replacements. Anyway, the size of these tweeters fit (wattage and size) so I bought them. After installation I was very pleased with the sound. I replaced both cause I knew it was a matter of time before the other one blew. Considering the cost I couldn't believe how good they sound and I couldn't be more happy. I had to turn the treble setting down on the receiver since I just about had it all the way up for the old ones. I'm hearing highs through those old speakers that weren't there before. I'm extremely pleased.

The speakers I ordered were 8ohm which I ordered for a home speaker project. They are a bit of an unusual size but it all worked out and they sound pretty decent considering the price. They lost a star due to the hookup tabs. Instead of just cutting a round hole you have to give some clearance for the stupid tabs that stick out of the side. The included template does not show this and from experience you would be better off using the cardboard insert from the box rather than the paper they send along. These are great replacement tweeters for my FisherST-843A(original tweeters are almost impossible to find). Great sound and price I love them and they almost dropped into the existing tweeter location on my Fishers. Only bad part is the location of the terminals, they stick out a bit so you have to notch your mounting holes for the terminals. Otherwise golden

For the price, these beasts are unbeatable. I previously bought a pair of skars that costed more only to find they had a huge resonance with mid-high frequencies that caused the harmonics to be inaudible and the vocals to be ear piercing. These on the other hand have less power in the vocals, hugely reducing any resonance and having very pronounced high end sounds that even beat the old tweeter on my Cerwin Vega E-715's, if you need a tweeter with good harmonic coverage with less mids to be made up with a midrange woofer, these are the tweeters for you.

I was very impressed with these low dollar Pyle speakers. They sound almost as good as the classic MADE IN USA Pyle speakers.They are very efficient and very sharp, a good equalizer is essential to keep these speakers contained so they don't rip your ears apart!

One came with loos connection of the back magnetic part due to the screw unable to be tighten. Poor quality control. The sound quality is good however.
