A treatment that works
I have 3 dogs and they were diving me crazy scratching. I was told it was food allergies, dry skin, nerves, and so on. I did spot a flea on my mini doodle that would cry in frustration as she scratched herself. I looked for a flea treatment that was rated good as most claim they don’t work well or for very long. I came across Vectra 3D and read the feedback. It had the best ratings so I thought I would try it out. What a surprise! I treated my dogs who were scratching all the time and in a few hours had settled down and were a lot calmer. The next day was the 1st day they quit scratching all day. The little mini doodle was sleeping with no problems. My standard poodle quit scratching and my Malanois seems fine. Even though I couldn’t see the fleas, they were on them. Vectra 3D really helped them. I would recommend this treatment for sure. They still scratch a little once in a while probably because of the bites they had before the treatment. I’m very happy and will continue to treat them with Vectra 3D monthly. I would recommend this treatment for your dog also.

From lots of experience, I've settled on Vetra.
I think this is the way to go. I've been a dog-guy and/or police K-9 handler in tick country all my life. I know all those tick diseases, because my dogs have had them all. I've tried every product you can name. Spent thousands. I've also read all the research/scholarly stuff I can find. After loads of observation and research I'm down to either this or the old fashioned K-9 Advantix I can buy in Canada. If just gets them off faster than Bravecto and all the others. I might partner it with a Kiltix or Preventic collar. These work, in my experience. The fact that its less expensive shouldn't detract. I hope you find good results, as I have. All part of a regime that includes treating the most common areas with granules, permethrin/cotton ball perimeter tubes, and vigilant inspection of the dogs.

Last topical fleas/ticks are not resistant to yet.
Virtually all topicals nowadays fleas and ticks are resistant to, this one is still working. My 30lbs dog spends a lot of time in the field and always comes back with ticks. Though I clean him up before he goes into the car, there is always a good chance a tick is hiding in his fur. But even a day later when I do find it, it has not latched on - thanks to this product. Haven't seen a flea in a long time either. The product makes his fur a little oily feeling for a day or two but that is the only "negative" - my dog is not drowsy and seems to have no ill effect.

Good product no side effects
Finally found a flea medicine that works. My dogs are so much happier now that we were able to solve the problem. It may be a bit pricey but still better than 30 dollars a pill that the vet sells.

Disappointing. Fleas were completely unaffected.
This has been applied twice over a six week period. After bathing, live fleas and their droppings were everywhere. We switched to a prescription treatment and her next bath had a few dead fleas, no live ones, no trace of flea poop and she stopped scratching within 72 hours of application. In all, very disappointing. We had to flea treat the entire house twice because this didn't work as claimed.
