Wilton Large Fondant Rolling Pin with Guide Rings - Fondant Roller Ideal for Rolling Large Amounts of Fondant on Tiered Cakes, 20-Inch

I know it's described as a fondant and gum paste rolling pin, this thing is so much more versatile than that. The shape is very much like that of a wooden French rolling pin, but the silicone material makes sure that nothing sticks to it! The little rubber spacers are the best for making sure you have an even roll, especially for novice pie makers like myself. I think it's the perfect size, but it's a lot larger than my parents' old handled rolling pin. It's also very easy to clean and fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer. This thing is going to last me a very long time.

I love this rolling pin for it's versatility as well as the precision provided by the rings. The thickness of your dough will be consistent every time. It is advertised by Wilton for use with fondant and gum paste, but it is silicone, does not stick, and is excellent for any job that requires a rolling pin. It comes with three sets of rings, each of a different thickness. Once you try it, you will wonder how you ever got along with out it!

Very high quality pin that is the longest I could find anywhere! It is the perfect pin for rolling out cookie dough, cinnamon rolls, and flattening tortillas. The included bands make getting the right dough thickness, a breeze. This pin makes baking easier and much more enjoyable. What ised to be a pain, is now a delight! I now love rolling out dough!

I have had this rolling pin for five years now and I still love it as much as I did on day one. I make sugar cookies on a regular basis and this rolling pin paired with my rolling pin rings gives me perfect results every time. I love that I can roll across a large piece of roll dough or cookie dough without any part of it not getting reached. It is occasionally tough to get a group grip on the pin itself without any handles, but it feels so much more sturdy than other rolling pins with handles. When having to roll out stiff, refrigerated cookie dough, I have always worried that the flimsy handles on a wire bar going through the pin on a traditional rolling pin are going to just snap off, but I have no worries about that with this rolling pin. I haven't ever actually made fondant with this rolling pin, and I typically roll my cookie dough between parchment paper, but I usually don't have tons of issues with the dough sticking to the rolling pin. I throw this in the dishwasher after each use without any concerns although dishwashing it would never be very difficult. Overall, It is great!!!

Perfect for rolling fondant for larger sheet cakes and higher layered cakes. This rolling pins simple design and size makes rolling fondant much easier; you get a smooth even finish when complete. I purchased this fondant rolling pin as a beginner; this is the same brand/design used by the pros.

I purchased this roller for a first time fondant project. PRO: Its length and thickness rings made it fool proof to reach the desired thickness which I of course, was grateful for. CON: That being said, the roller is very light weight and I had to put a lot of pressure on the fondant to roll it out. My palms were sore and it was physically tiring! Thankfully, to fix this, in my initial rolls, I ended up using my marble rolling pin; the weight did the hard work for me and once I got my fondant thin and well spread into a consistent circle, I used the Wilton roller with measure bands to achieve the right thickness all around. I don't recommend using this roller alone with large projects. It might be fine for smaller ones, but even then, I used my marble roller for that as well. I feel like if the roller was thicker, like a traditional rolling pin, and at least had handles, it would be a solid product. Until then, it gets the job done...kind of.

It turns out that this is a must-have item for great fondant creations. It makes rolling it out soon much easier!! Also great for getting the rolled-out fondant onto the cake. I love the rings that allow you to determine the thickness of your fondant. I'm finding that the middle-sized ring is best for avoiding tearing.

Veey good product. It’s very sturdy and slghrly heavy; I was xoncerned ir would be too light it would sway because it is a hard plastic but don’t think w/b problem. However I woyldnt stick in dishwasher but rarher wash by hand. The price was bit more rhan I had planned to spend but rhink worth it.

Habe diesen Teigroller speziell für Fondant gekauft und auch gleich benutzt. Es bleibt nichts kleben und er ist groß genug für eine Fondantdecke. Nach dem Benutzen mit einem nassen Lappen sauberwischen und fertig. Sehr pflegeleicht und ich bin äußerst zufrieden. Empfehle ihn gerne weiter
