Cobra Sports 3 Game Volleyball net System

This is a great volleyball net set that is more durable than your typical backyard set but not over the top competition set that’s way more money. I bought this for my daughter to practice while high school is not allowing access to gym during COVID-19 pandemic. Works very very well. It takes maybe 30 minutes to set up but comes down easily and can be reinstalled in about 5 minutes.

We were looking for an outdoor net that was easy to set up and extremely durable that would allow my 4 kids and their friends play without the fear of destroying it. This net is perfect! We were extremely nervous about setting it up after reading all of the reviews, but we watched the video first and it only took us about 10-15 minutes to set it up the first time. We can now set it up in under 5 minutes. Watch the video, buy the correct mallet and it works great!

The quality of materials is all top notch (poles, net, etc). I love the concept but the major issue I have with this net is the set up process.- Heavy: the net is about 30+ lbs and bulky so carrying it around takes some work- Difficult to get the right height: After using it for 5 or 6 times, I've yet to figure out how to get the net up to the proper height (mens). The middle always droops and it hurts your hands to pull down on the chord for tightening.- The set up video they have online is misleading. Once you have it setup it's very difficult to reach the release lever (you'll need someone who is 6'3 or taller) to reach it when you're taking the net down. Else you'll need to bring a step ladder.- The instructions are HORRIBLE. No diagrams or pictures. It's just a bunch of text.(UPDATE)Cobra support contacted me about my troubles and provided additional details on setting up the net correctly. This was exceptional customer service seldom seen nowadays. After exchanging communications, I still could not get the handle of getting a proper set up so Cobra agreed to take the net back as they are focused on 100% customer satisfaction.In conclusion, I believe a little more detail on proper setup to go along with the packaging will provide a lot of value to customers. Specifically, it would be great to get a video that shows the details and tips around using the bungee chords and pulling the rope tight.

Once you get the hang of it you can set this net up in less that 15 minutes by yourself.I've messed around with cheaper alternatives and always been disappointed.This system is well thought out and a joy to play with. Components are built to last and the included bag is actually big enough to fit everything + a ball and other tools. If you do actually manage to break something (doubtful) replacement parts are available from the manufacturer.Note: You'll want to pick up a sledgehammer as well to drive the primary stakes into the ground.Its the only portable net i've seen that actually gets tight enough to allow play off the net.Don't waste your time or money on anything else.

I have had my cobra net for over 10 yrs now. Overall, I really enjoy the net. The reason I have to give this a 2 star review is due to the customer service and no lifetime warranty. One of the main reasons I got the net was for the "Lifetime Warranty." Well, after using it for a few years the stakes slowly got a little bent. I continued to use it for a couple more years but they continued to bend more and it was becoming hard to put them into the ground straight. I contacted Cobra about the lifetime warranty on this item and after 6-7 long conversations they still refused to provide me with new stakes. I couldn't believe it. The website says "lifetime warranty" all over it, and I think that sucks a lot of people in...including myself. Bottom line DON'T EXPECT A LIFETIME WARRANTY.On the other hand, the net works well to set up in the sand (when the stakes are not bent). I do feel the net is a little short when I set it up. It takes some practice to get the proper set up, but it can be done.

I love the volleyball net system. It was fairly easy to set up. One thing that was not clear in the instructions or instructional video was to use some small bolt and nut to set the height of the top pole into the bottom pole. I found another video made by someone in Germany that had more details on the set up. Putting it up again will be a breeze. I love the court boundary lines/ stakes that were included and were already fixed at the right lengths on the rope. Our family is really enjoying playing in our yard. Plus, we could take it with us if we wanted to go to a picnic, beach or somewhere else.

I researched MANY options and settled on this because there aren't any guy wires for my kids to trip over when the sun is going down. We left ours up for 4 weeks straight and simply picked up the boundary rope so we could mow the grass. Comes in a great storage bag and we'll use it for years to come. I recommend searching You Tube for a video on how to set it up... helps a ton.

After going through outdoor volleyball nets each summer that would invariably fall over with every hard rain, I bought the Cobra outdoor net system after a volleyball coach recommended it. This net is excellent. It is high quality, easy to setup, and extremely solid. This is the best outdoor net system on the market.
