FolkArt Plaid Nylon Brush Set, 50559 Brown (3-Piece)

I would not necessarily recommend these to a serious artist (they could work - but I don't know as I used them for a simple project), but for basic crafting, they fit the bill. I used them to paint baby pumpkins for the autumn and Halloween season. They turned out great! The price is really fair! You get three brushes. I only used the smallest one. Tip: To extend the use of your brushes, rinse them thoroughly after use, making sure they are completely free of all product, and then dry before storing. I was able to get through about a dozen pumpkins with just one brush, and said brush is still in decent shape. Give these a try! Great for simple crafting and basic projects, as well as for children.

This was a perfect set! I used it this morning. Everything turned out great for what I needed. Good sizes. Durable. The tips were just soft enough. I cleaned it up and it looks like new again. These are great! Highly recommend!

I needed some brushes to use in a dry brush technique on a plastic statue. The statue is brown and I wanted to put gold highlights on it. I used gold metallic acrylic paint with the widest brush. I am so happy with the results! These are very good quality brushes. The bristles are tightly fastened. The handle is comfortable to hold. It was very easy to clean with soap and water from the acrylic paint. I got it squeaky clean, and I’m hanging it by the handle to dry. I’m glad I bought these brushes. I’m sure I’ll use them again for other projects.

Nice brushes, but the bristles don't have a neat tip as pictured. Can't use the brushes for fine lines in the one-stroke technique.

Great for tiny detail work. They seem to be holding up well and I like the ergonomic handles.

I had previously bought the traditional large round paint brushes for pre-schoolers, which my granddaughter seemed to like. Then we made a birdhouse & used my flat wide acrylic brushes to paint it. She loved my brushes. I was delighted to see how easy they were for her to use. Since she can be a bit aggressive 🤣 when painting, I bought 2 sets of these for her. She has so much fun using them with her non-toxic water based paints. She has discovered the variety of effects she can create by using the various edges/angles of flat brushes. I highly recommend this little set for little hands of your creative young ones. Oh, yes, super easy to clean. We have had no problem with strands falling out. Great value
