Kemimoto Universal Car Windshield Washer Pump

Mounted into rzr pro xp4 2021. Works great for little money. Mounted sprayers on angled part of factory hood, cut hole where factory accessory one goes and Mounted to the sloped backside of frame with a fender washer. Used this wiring harness to hook it up with a 2012 subaru forester rear wiper motor i snagged out of a parts car i had. Works great. I have a heavily modified 2000 Cherokee and the original washer fluid bottle was removed because of the removal of the inner fenders and addition of Affordable Offroad armor with fenders. Someone before me did all this but never bothered to install another washer fluid bottle elsewhere as they built it to be trail rig. I use it as a daily driver so I immediately went looking for a way to install the factory one under the hood after I installed a cowl intake. Unfortunately a new one wasn't horribly expensive but you can't buy the fluid level sensor anymore and not installing it would leave a giant hole in the tank I would have to somehow seal off. So I started looking around for universal kits and came across this guy and decided to give it a go. It comes with everything needed to add a washer fluid system to basically anything which is nice but I only needed the bottle with the hanger, pump and the plug for the pump. I bought a piece of 2" wide flat steel from Menards, bent one end at a 90 degree and measured out the holes to mount it to the Jeep and mount the bottle to the steel. After drilling out the 4 holes I primed and painted with some color match paint from my WJ which happened to be a very close blue color and installed it under the hood. I crimped some spade connectors to the plug for the pump and cut off one side so it was just 1 prong sticking out of both and slid it into the factory plug. After making sure I had the correct plug for the front pump I wrapped all the connectors with electrical tape so if I ever came across a factory tank I could swap it out and still have the factory wiring good to go. The pump it came with is nice and strong and the only real downfall is how small the tank is, less than half a bottle of washer fluid fits in it. Bug season is going to suck having to constantly having to refill it.

I bought this reservoir because I had to install a smaller one due to the purchase of a new bumper on my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. The size of the reservoir is sufficient to hold a fairly large amount of fluid while fitting in tight engine compartments. It comes with a bracket to attach the reservoir to a flat surface. I had to fabricate a small hanger to use it in the location I needed but that was quick and easy. Secondly, it comes with a pump that is recessed into the reservoir. I actually removed the pump that came with it and replaced it with the one from my old reservoir so the wiring connector would fit. I also drilled and added a second pump for the rear window pump as well as drilling a hole in the bottom of the reservoir to install the factory low fluid switch so I did have an annoying lights on the dash. All in all I would highly recommend this reservoir because it is very well made and fully functional.

Works great

It is a small tank so it can fit almost anywhere. But it is a small tank which will require many fill ups. It does not come with a connector for the switch which has very small terminals. It will require soldering some small gauge wire to them to keep them secured to the switch. If adding this as a completely new set up, I would suggest a relay for the pump and an inline fuse for the relay and switch. Using the existing wiring you wouldn't need to worry about it. Over all, good product and a good value.

Works as intended. Installed on my Maverick X3. Flipped shocks from side to side and faced canisters out to fit tank in between. Used mounts from Cubic Dollar off-road to mount sprayers. Removed a factory plastic clip and replaced with a bolt to mount the tank with included mount. Wired to a factory Can Am momentary wiper switch. Would buy again.
