Using this to complement a single hinge opening patio door. The door does have a "click" topstay that would not hold against a gust of wind, this floor mounted stop just gives that little extra protection in both directions when the door is open.

These are brilliant very nice to lol at considering and very well made

I used this to latch back a solid wooden side gate 110cm wide. I mounted the hook on top of a short stake. It clicked into the staple very nicely when the gate was pushed back, and was easy enough to release with your foot. I would recommend.

Such a great garden gate hook, open the gate and it’s hooked without having to flap a hand around, easily releases just by placing foot on the lever. Easy to install. Works so easily.
