3M-1533-2 Tape Micropore Surgical LF Paper 2"x10yd Tan 6/Bx by 3M Part No. 1533-2

I have been using this tape for many years and it has always been reliable for my needs. Sticks well and doesn't interact with your skin. Even during showers it holds well and dries quickly.

After a major abdominal surgery I needed tape to hold on gauze pads. I must of tried over 6 kinds of tape. All of which left my sensitive skin red, irritated and even some took off skin! My Doctor was using this in her office at one of my visits. She told me it’s the best! Said to use it over my sutures too. Now I’m mostly healed but to give my incisions extra support I tape right along the whole thing. Stays on and doesn’t hurt to remove. Good stuff! So happy I found this. All these little things count during a long recovery.

I have had an Barnett Continent Internal Risivoir for a very long time and this is the only tape that does what I need. I make my own ostomy bandages by cutting feminine pads up and using this wonderful tape that does not rip my sensitive skin off! The best bandaid for my BCIR, ever!

Product is thin and skin toned making it easy to apply without looking too much like tape.

This width of this tape covers better than others. It so easy to place and to remove and causes NO skin breakage/irritation.

Excellent product

Overall I recommend it BUT know it is hard to remove! I end up running warm/hot water over it (or remove while in the shower) to loosen the adhesive. Otherwise it pulls hard at your skin and can be painful. I'm using for covering a skin cancer, and am glad its not stitches. the color blends well with my skin tone (lightly tanned).

This stuff really stays on. I've used it through the years for all sorts of things. I recently injured a toe and had to change the dressing twice daily, and the Dr. gave me a roll of this. It stays on thru showers, removes easily, and doesn't stick to wounds. The width of this was a bit unwieldy for a toe, but cut in half, it's perfect. I have tossed out all of the self-stick drugstore band-aids. This micropore tape, and some gauze pads are all you really need to take care of almost anything.
