Exact replacement for original mobile home doors pre 2000 or so. We have an upscale 1998 triple wide mobile home with roughly 2400 sq ft. And as time goes by, the door handles gradually wear out. For several years I could find replacement cylinders and get them going. But now I cannot even find those. It seems that about 2000 or so they made the doors 1/8 inch thicker. So most doorknobs you find will not tighten up on the older doors. They will fit, but constantly shift around. Then I found these, bought one of each to try after reading reviews and fell in love with them. They are designed for the pre 2000 thickness doors and work perfectly. They look good, fit good and tighten completely. I was so pleased with the first two that I reordered enough to replace every door needing repair.......about a dozen in all.I then bought one spare of each so I will have the info on hand and will definitely reorder as needed. These are just what I had been looking for over the last several years. Very reasonably priced and excellent product.

The knobs were a perfect fit to replace the broken plastic bolt mechanism on 2 closet doors in a 1980s modular home. Quick and easy to install. I would have given 5 stars, but one of them came with 2 sets of the wood screws for the strike plate and no bolts to hold the 2 sides together. As I was replacing a knob, i just used the old bolts and they fit just fine.

I just put it on and every thing went like clock work, and looks great.

If you can love a lick set, I love this one. It is just the right thing for my home which has mobile home stuff in it but it's not a mobile home. It's a manufactured home. It was made all indoors, and it's the same as a stick built on site at the place it will be for a long, long time.

I ordered several of these for double wide. I wish they were offered in different finishes for similar price.

We bought this for our mobile home. Would suggest that you order a "mobile home door knob" unless you are handy. The hole for the latching mechanism is not the same on manufactured homes made before 1999.
