I used this Magnetic Tape to secure my watercolor half pans to a tin that I basically recycled because I had a ton of different half pan watercolors and no place to store them all. Where I could just grab the whole package and go. This tape has allowed me to put all my watercolors in one place. Mind you I only have a few small watercolor sets but still I hates carrying all the different containers. My only complaint is that the adhesive on the back isn't quite holding up as well as I was hoping but it was only one and I think it was because I didn't get it on there when it was clean so that's operator error. Clean dry surfaces before sticking. Because the moment I cleaned the surface and let it dry completely everything stuck.

Works as advertised but still need a stronger magnetic hold for anything heavy.

Don't buy these! I was hoping to buy some adhesive magnets to keep a tablet cover closed when folded backwards, but these are way too weak. They barely even stick to themselves! I tried sticking them on the refrigerator, and they fell off too. Terrible! The adhesive is alright strength-wise and easy enough to peel off, which is fortunate because I am not having these useless strips stuck to my tablet if they don't work. A complete waste of money, I will have to look elsewhere for another product to do the job. I'm sorely tempted to chuck the rest of the tape roll into the rubbish bin, because I can't think of any other use case for these nearly non-magnetic adhesive strips.

I initially purchased this magnetic tape to use on some very light weight borders for my magnetic white board. The tape is light weight, easy to use, and stuck on well to my borders… but it fell flat for the purpose of being magnetic. Unless the tape is cut in long sections, it doesn’t have the strength to really even hold up a piece of paper. Even with multiple pieces on my border, if I bump it the whole thing will fall off my board. I was going to use it for other items on my magnetic white board, but will definitely have to go with something else now. If your item is incredibly light weight then you can try it, but I’d recommend getting a stronger magnet for hanging other items.

was a case like a note book for my new surface pro, this product made my innovation a reality. It fits neatly in my leather portfolio, and magnetic strips allow for easy removal and fitting/secure storage of the new mobile office. It also disguises it as notebook/binder v. a laptop appeal to new unauthorized owners. When I get a zip up portfolio, I will reinvest in another roll.

Every year I use this to hang my calendar on the refrigerator. This year’s calendar weighs 8 ounces (half a pound) and a piece of magnetic tape across the width of the calendar easily holds it up. As a new year rolls around, I pull off the magnetic tape from the old calendar and glue it onto the the new one. I had some of this magnetic tape that I used for probably 15 years, and it’s finally time to buy some more!

Well, it performed as advertised for what I wanted it for, but for anything much heavier than a couple of sheets of writing paper, it's not up to the task. EDIT: The adhesive isn't great. I cut an approximately 2 inch strip and attached it to the wall. 10 minutes later, the strip started rolling back into shape.

I used it to attach to my paint pans so they stay in place in my paint tin. Cuts like butter with basic scissors, attaches strongly to the plastic paint pans with the sticky on one side of the magnetic strip. And the magnets hold the pans exactly where I put them while being easy to take on and off.
