Ultrasport multifunctional mat, anti-slip fitness equipment underlay, sound-insulating and tough, 115 x 80 cm

Really impressed with this exercise mat / underlay for your home fitness equipment. It's big enough to go under an exercise bike, mini jumper, weight machine etc and brilliant for protecting wooden floors and providing some anti-slip, as well as a bit of insulation to absorb some of the sound and vibration when you're working out with people below you. It's just big enough as a work-out mat too for crunches, skipping etc. On that front, the padding is really impressive for sit-ups especially - if you have a hard floor or not particularly soft carpet this somehow feels like you've got a really thick exercise mat below you, despite the fact its actually pretty thin!It also rolls up very easily and tightly so is very easy to store out of the way when not in use. It isn't a cheap mat but I wouldn't expect it to be too much as it's very solid, brilliant quality and actually genuinely works on absorbing work-out impacts so is great if your work out room is upstairs or if you live in a flat and have people below you.

A thin lightweight mat. Slightly spongy. Durable. Easy to roll up, but there is no tie or band to keep is rolled. Rolls out flat. Will protect well against foot traffic and abrasions from equipment. Some noise reduction. No care instructions are included, but I foresee no problems with cleaning. At the moment the list price is slightly higher than similar products, but with prices being so volatile I am ignoring this for my rating.My recommendation is to choose a mat based on the size the most suits your needs, as there is little to differentiate the brands in terms of functionality.

I have a rowing machine and a weights bench that I use as part of my training for rowing competition and I have been reluctant to refloor the room I keep them in as I routinely drip perspiration and get scuffs from the feet of the rower on the flooring. This is a grippy mat that would also be useful for functional body weight fitness training (a bit firm for yoga or pilates but adequate if you are supple). Given you could buy something similar from a building supplier off the roll, I do think the price is a little high but it seems robust and much tougher than a typical sports mat or carpet underlay. Pretty good.

This mat has shorter but wider dimensions compared to a yoga mat. It does come with a bag or straps or anything like that, just the mat. It’s made of quite substantial materials and again is about the thickness of a yoga mat. I have a bench at home worth weight lifting and I’m using it underneath the bench and it offers protection for the laminate flooring underneath. It’s priced at over £30 which seems a bit on the pricey side?

Overall a nice quality mat for exercise or protection of your gym or house floor. Here are some points that I feel it excels in ; • Great for keeping gym floor protected below machinery like a treadmill or a rowing machining.• Can be used as a mat for yoga and fitness purposes.• Good non slip grip which will keep it in place during even the most vigorous exercise routine.• Material feels sturdy and high quality with the mat itself feeling thicker than most other brands.• Looks sleek in any gym with its black colour.

Even though the size was provided, compared to my other floor mats this one does seem to be a bit on the small side, especially for the price. However, to be fair this mat feel like a better quality (softer and thicker) than my other larger mat underneath my treadmill.We ended up using this mat at the weight bench area and it works quite well. As this mat is so flexible it can roll up and be used on the go (I am thinking some padding whilst doing a home video ab workout!)

I’ve recently laid a new laminate floor and this mat helps to keep it unscratched from my wife’s running machine. It’s also great at keeping the running machine in place, it simply grips it in place and doesn’t slide around at all.

Very impressed with this. Thick and very good sticktion - but without leaving marks on the floor - comfy and seems like it would be very hard wearing.
