ASUS Z87M-PLUS DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard

I bought this board along with an i7-4770K and some G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1333 for my new desktop. It is blazing fast, stable, and overclocks nicely. It caught my eye while I was considering the Z78-PRO because I do not want to pay for the wireless.The only problem I have with the board (and the reason I will probably be returning it) is that the graphics card slot is in the 1st position and my (ginormous) Noctua NH-D14's fan clips touch the back of the graphics card. Get the non-"M" version of the board if you want a big cooler.

Very happy with the board. Was surprised to discover it wouldn't accept my old Soundblaster XtremeGamer card, but that was my fault, I didn't check that part of the specs.It's got a great BIOS, way easier than the non-GUI ones from a decade+ ago :)I've got an i7 4770k and two 8gb sticks of Ripjaws inside, running great. (I returned the other two sticks when I realized 32gb of RAM would be overkill for at least a couple years, for me.)

For the last several years I have worried about motherboards. Out of the last 10, or so, systems I have put together only five of them worked flawlessly from the initial boot. This was another 4-star motherboard so, as I added components to it I thought about how frustrating this was going to be if the MB was bad. Well, the motherboard is fantastic. It booted into Windows 7-64 from the SSD that came from the system is replacing, Everything worked fine. I have an I7 3770K in it OC to 4,2 GHz. I put a Thermaltake Water 2 Pro on it with the two Thermaltake fans and it is pretty quiet, even when stressed 100% CPU. My cooling is fine, ave 23degC on idle with between 45 - 55degC for 100% CPU. If you take your time and build it carefully, this is a great motherboard.

I would have given it 5 stars but I was not aware that this was the smaller board. I really wanted the bigger board but I was in a hurry and I had to get my build done. So far I am satisfied with it's construction and the newer bios interface. Very overclockable and customizable.

Bought this board 6 years ago placed a cor I5 4570 on it with 16 GB of ram and it is still running as well as the day I built it.

Bought this for my first build. If I didn't see myself going the nvidia route I'd have dual chip cards in both PCI slots. Cost somehow went up to $150+?? I bought this a year ago im April '14 for $119.

The board is to compressed...not enough fan ports. Decent price i guess... the also the graphics card ports are also to close together

LGA１１５０PC作成にあたり、最初アスロックｈ８７、次がアスロックｚ８７と立て続けに購入交換しました。どちらも交換の理由は、動作が安定しません。たとえば、メモリ4GBｘ４を取り付けて問題なく起動したのでウィンドウズ７Pro64Bitインストールしてドライバーをすべて当てて再起動かけましたが、ブルーバックでチェックが入り勝手に再起動メモリ16ｇｂが8ｇｂしか認識せず、などトラブルばかりでしたが、友人に相談したら、ASUSTeK Intel Z87チップセット搭載マザーボード Z87M-PLUS 【MATX】を進められ購入しました。組み付け、OS、ドライバー、アップデート各種ソフトのインストールと、スムーズに進みました。O/Cで動作してますが、全く問題なく、ASUSTeKのファンになりました！何でも購入を考えるときは、他人の評価や口コミは大事だなぁ～と思いました。この品は、安くて最高です。LGA1150にかかわらず、ASUSTeKは好き嫌い無くどのパーツとも相性の問題をクリアーしてくれそうな気がします。
