They run small. They’re painful to wear b/c of the thick and awkward seems in the fingers.

I’ve been using these gloves for a couple months now. Overall good quality. Not sure about the longevity of heavy abuse in rope rescue but I foresee zero issues during recreational use. Great fit.

Several of my fire department personnel bought these , number 1 for the price, but pleasantly surprised by the fit, comfortable and durability. We spent all day repelling up and down walls and none of us had any damage. Made easy work keeping a good grip on the ropes.

Perfect and held up well they are comfortable relatively cheap for how good they are they’re a little warm but they are breathable and for the reviews that say too tight they are supposed to be tight they are climbing gloves I haven’t used them effectively yet but I’m sure they will work

These Fit wonderful

I work at an outdoor ropes course. I belay participants using a gri-gri. I prefer the full finger gloves because the rope rubs across the thumb and top of the fingers. The mesh back allows flexibility. The black leather palm provides adequate strength and protection from rope burn, but is hot and leaves a black dye stain on my hands. The stain may disappear after continuous use. The leather is also soft and smooth and makes it harder to pull the rope through the gri-gri. The gloves might work better with a rough leather palm and the normal cowhide, which shouldn’t leave your hands stained.

I purchased these to use for rappelling and they worked quite nicely. They are supple enough to maintain enough dexterity to tie a knot and sturdy enough to not give yourself rope burn if you happen to weigh 240# and are controlling your descent down a rope.Some reviews stated that their hands were discolored (from the dye?) after use. I didn't notice that, although when I first used them it was a damp day overall.The eyelet in the wrist area is a nice touch to attach them securely to a carabiner for storage.I'd trust these to protect my skin, even at my weight, when working with rope and I'd definitely recommend them.
