Mushroom House Dried Mushrooms, Maitake, 1 Pound

I bought this and 3 other mushrooms that are supposed to support mood. Broke them up and mixed them all together. I don’t soak, just cook 3 minutes in ramen. Much more render than I thought just by looking at them. Nice taste

I'm still an amateur mushroom afficionado but the maitake has become a front runner for me. The woody flavor is amazing.I've ordered from a different company and theirs were great but these came still in larger clumps, they were pre-sliced on the bottom and just lovely. These have a more intense maitake flavor, which is awesome.Because they are still on the larger side you can use those pre slices to just pull apart and make Maitake streaks.Tonight I will make mine with red wine reduction. Yum yum!

Label on front indicates Mitake Mushrooms but the ingredients say Oyster, Shiitake, Forcing and Woodear mushrooms.

Rehydtrated anything is not as good as fresh. Theses are great quality and great price.

I really love this, and the flavor is great!the mushrooms don't rehydrate as well as the directions say, but they work amazingly in slow cooker recipes! Its a real treat to have maitakes in any form
