Great tube doors, quite satisfied with the purchase.
These doors arrived quickly and I just recently installed them on my Jeep. I figured I'd provide some feedback on the install since some of the other reviews I found from other sellers product reviews had occasional issues. These doors are well built. The welding is nice and clean and everything is straight and put together nicely. Assembly wasn't that difficult, no instructions but I was able to figure it out. In total, took about 1 hour to complete. I noticed on some other reviews, they mention having to drill out the Jeep door hinges. If you have to drill out the hinges, you need to replace the hinge liners on your Jeep. They are a maintenance item that should be replaced when it starts to become difficult to remove your Jeep doors. Once you put the doors on the Jeep you will have to adjust the hinge plates so that they work properly and to avoid alignment issues. I have an installation video here or you can search for Ratchet JKU on you tube. As far as the paint, it is still nice for the price. I don't plan to have these out in the rain so rust isn't a concern for me. These do not come with mirrors but I already had a couple sets I used instead, cant complain for the price of these tube doors. The hinge pins for these doors are threaded, and the OEM screws work to secure them to the Jeep hinges. I would recommend purchasing a set of locks, McGard door locks are a good chance, to avoid someone just walking up and throwing these in their vehicle. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the purchase. They are a fraction the cost of tube doors from other big name manufacturers, and work just fine. Spending extra time to do some adjustments is worth the cost savings. If for any reason I I run into any issues with these down the line I'll be sure to update this review.

You get what you pay for?
First I want to clarify, you get what you pay for means these are a hell of a deal if you’re willing to compromise a little bit. They bolt up and fit well, they are built relatively solid. They are hundreds of dollars less than anything comparable. If the rust and welds aren’t to your liking pay someone else more for nicer doors. If you don’t mind bed lining or spray painting and cleaning up a little these are perfectly functional. The latches work well and the fit and style are great. I plan on welding these out a little more solidly and bed lining them. As a fabricator there is no way I could build these for $250 worth of my time and I honestly would have waited months to build my own if I had to pay $500-$1000 for doors. They are a steal at the price. Only problem I did encounter was on the driver side door when tightening the lower door pin attachment the stud broke off the door. It’s still very secure and I’ve got a fastener on the top so again I’m not super worried about it. If you’re on a budget and want some cool doors to really open up your Jeep while providing security for kids/passengers these are perfect.

A must have for your jk if you have kids.
Just installed these today. They arrived well packaged with everything in plastic and a cloth cover wrapping everything nice and tight. There are no instructions but there’s a review with a video explaining how the hinges go. Short explanation is it comes with 2 hinges that the pins are mounted at the top of the bracket, they got on the top hinge for both back doors. The other 6 hinges have the pins mounted towards the bottom. The good- they are well built. They are a lot heavier than I expected! They look great. The finish is well done with a few blemishes but nothing really noticeable. For $215 you can’t go wrong. The only bad right now is the front doors are not closing tight. There are to rubber bushing per door and the front bushings are not making contact. That’s the reason for the 4 stars. If I can get them to line up then I will update my review and add the other star. I included a picture of the rubber bushings in the front door not making contact. I’m almost positive these are the same doors offered by Hooke Road, EAG and others. Just $60-$100 cheaper. You can’t go wrong with these.

Oof... Bought a project...
Just got these today, came out of the box already a decent amount of rust in some of the nooks and cranny's... Also a couple good 1/2 dime size chips in the finish, various other scratches I normally expect from shipping finished metal. Gonna have to wire-brush and repaint before I even put these on. Also, the instructions are about the worst I've ever seen. "Hinges marked red are for the top of rear doors"... None of the hinges were marked with red anything. The actual instruction sheet literally just shows pictures of all 4 doors and a dotted line between the hinge holes and the door holes. No recommendation for where or what order the washers/lock-washers should go. It's not that hard if you're reasonably handy, but I expect anyone who isn't may have some missing parts and a pending road hazard on their hands. This is the cheapest I found these doors, and unfortunately, they are pretty damn cheap. Updated: Reduced to 1 star. Finally put these on. 1: The screws that mount the hinges to the door are crap... basically made of butter. 2: When putting the hinge nut on the front driver's side, the screw broke off, again with basically zero resistance. Couldn't have been more than 5 foot lbs. I am religious about NEVER cross-threading anything. I know it wasn't cross threaded. It literally felt like the nut was going on fine, then it just fell out with the screw from the door hinge broken off in the nut. I just laughed... What a bunch of junk.

Great Value, why spend $400 or more?
While I had wanted tube doors for my jeep since I got it, this was a total impulse purchase... saw a great looking set of doors at a great price and decided to take a chance. Despite it estimating shipping time at 10 days, I received them within 48 hours. As others have stated, there were no instructions, but installation was do easy a 10 year old could handle it. The only thing you need to know is that of all 8 hinges, 2 are slightly different. Those are the top hinges for the back doors. There are predrilled holes for mirrors (though mirrors are not included). The latches are good quality and are adjustable to prevent rattling. The only thing I didn't care for was that they included chrome screws... my jeep is al matte black accent, so I'll probably paint the screws . The welding quality is good as is the wrinkle matte black finish.

Jeep JKU doors
I wasn’t expecting much, but these doors are awesome. The latches are secure and it closes like the full doors. Little to no rattle when going down the road, on or off road. I was more than impressed with the functionality and quality. Way better than expected. Price point was good compared to similar models. I would actually recommend these to other Jeepers. The only con was the lack of directions, certain brackets are specific for mounting to the door jam, but once you figure that out, it’s an impressive product.

Get what you pay for. In this case, a headache.
The Good- They look great and function well once you get them installed. They are heavier duty than i thought they would be (probably feel heavier than they really are because they fill the tubes with sand since you can hear it move around once you start pulling them out of the box). Nothing against adding weight to the doors since they are probably very light without the added weight. The latches are secure once they latch so they feel safe. The Bad - What a pain in the butt to install! First you need to sand all of the posts for the hinges because they don't tape them off when powder coating them. Most likely this is because they use the lowest grade carbon steel that rusts instantly if it's not powder coated. some of the powder coating made the posts .010" out of round so i had to use a Dremel to remove enough powder coat. Once you have all the posts clean it's somewhat easy to put these together. Make sure you have all the hardware because I had exactly what was needed, not a washer extra. I almost took all the hardware to my local ACE hardware to replace it all with stainless but figured these doors will most likely never see water so taking a chance to see how long this hardware lasts before it starts to rust. Note that you must check the location of the latches on the doors. I ran into the problem on the passenger side that the latch was far back inside so it wasn't latching. After realizing this it was a simple fix by loosening the two bolts, sliding it closer to the door, and tightening them back up. No limiting straps so if your kids are door kickers when they get out it's gonna smash something when they kick the door to get out. The Ugly - The powder coat scratches easily, like super easily. The ones i have had light scratches all over them but for the most part were packaged up well so no major damage. I did notice the welds, as others mentioned, look like a 4th grader who never welded before put these together. And another common complaint others noticed and so have I is light rust where there wasn't powder coat coverage. I have a few very small spots where i can see rust which is concerning because it makes me wonder how long these will last before the rust eats them from the inside out. There are places on the steel that you can see it was most likely rusty as hell and they just threw a coat of powder over it. Overall - For $260 and these being the cheapest trail doors you can find on Amazon I'm satisfied overall. I think as the review with the video mentioned he paid $190 which seems where the price point should be but due to popularity on Amazon and inflation I had to pay 35% more in less than 2 years. If you're looking for some cheap trail doors to make your wife happy so she doesn't feel like your kids or herself are going to fall out these are a good budget option to fulfill that need. If you have an extra $700-$1000 to blow on doors I suggest getting something of higher quality.

Great purchase
These look fantastic and work great on our 2018 Jeep Wrangler. As a mom with a toddler, I insisted on having some sort of doors just for safety and these have been great.
