The product I bought first was junk, way too small, basically turned to a powdery mess. This product was much larger and worth the purchase. It is messy though when you first go to spread it out, so you may need your dustbuster with you when you do.

These look great with my ceramic logs. They look like wood chips at the bottom of the fireplace.

Not what I was expecting. The description was not clear on what it was for. Or that I needed additional material to go with it for the fireplace.

Used this for mushroom substrate. It is very large vermiculite. Works perfectly

Large size bag. It made all the difference in my fireplace as it helped evenly spread the flames across the logs!
