Fits perfectly in our slider doir

Good lock for the price, could be better with a few minor tweaks.
Installed just fine. Needed a bunch of measuring, though, to be sure it all lined up. It works just fine as well. I would prefer the strike plate (where the lock engages) to be more beefy. The screws needed to be longer as well. One quick twist with a crow bar will not hold a thief out. So get some longer screws for the strike plate, and perhaps a thicker plate, if you can find one which works with the geometry of the lock.

Key has to stay in the lock
This lock is complicated to use, to install and needs a few tweaks. The lock is hard to turn, in order for the key to be released the door has to be locked (which makes no sense to me).

Very hard to install..no directions..lock is hard to turn etc!
I wish this would've ce with some instructions. It was very hard to carve out solid wood pocket door so that this could recess enough that it will fit within the pocket doors pocket. Also the lock is very tough to turn. I feel like the key is getting torn up by the lock when I try to turn it and hope it will not eventually lead to problems. Update..took a lot of alterations to make it work. Almost returned it but found some special steel weld putty that's like metal super glue putty that even lets you tap it for threads. It worked and my door is now awesome! The issue is the threaded chamber and screws are too long for the average $100 solid wood pocket door. More door type/size specification is needed in the listing. We made it work but most people probably wouldn't even know that the products we had to use exist, or wouldn't know where to find them or how to use them. It's a nice handle/lock but took a lot of extra $ and work on top of the price to be able to use it.
